i live in jersey & all my life i never heard that amber alert sound. just the regular eas one.& its still scares me even though im 19

Amber Alerts are sent out everytime a child has been abducted. Therefore, Amber Alerts are basically alerts/warning for any children that have been kidnapped as they are also broadcasted on any Radio or TV stations in the area of the abduction. Hope that was a good enough explaination.

They are better known in the UK as CHILD RESCUE ALERT. They became active in the UK in 2006.

that's the first Mock up with the scary Amber Alert Sound, and i have two clips on youtube with said sound. one from a recording of KDFW Fox 4 in Dallas showing a Amber Alert on a Ticker with the Sound during a court show, and another Video with audio from KRLD AM also in DFW, doing a story on a Amber Alert with that sound. i should make those a video response, plus They Say by Scars on Broadway, awesome Song, wish System of A Down would get back together.
