The Stereophonics cover of Don't Let Me Down might be the best one. I would never say that a Beatles cover was better than the original, but, damn, it comes close... for me, anyway.  That version was used in my wedding ceremony. Oh, and the I am Sam soundtrack has some real gems. Not usually a fan of covers, but that is one of the best OST.
