This person sings well but it is not Ms Hill. Listen to the voice PATTERN not just the style. Although it is very much her style it is not her voice. 1:03-1:06 and 1:27-1:31 definitely sounded like her voice pattern but the rest only has her STYLE like at 2:41-2:48 to the end and the beginning.

However, this could've just been mixed-down by someone merging her voice with someone else and Youssou.

I really think it's Lauryn Hill. Becuz she's gotten older, her vocal intonation and the color of her sound has changed a bit and she's even using other parts of her voice to evoke a different sound. Yeah, it's L Boogie.

I could understand why you don't really feel her on this cut. Personally, I think she is giving too much when only little is needed vocal wise. I mean, it's a laid back, chill track and she's going to church on it. Her approach doesn't match the mode of the instrumental. Every now and then she may hit it and mostly in the song she misses it. When she sings the last part of the song 3:59, she shold've been like that in the entire song. So I feel you.

@truthis1934 I think Lauryn is just ad-libbing..and not so much singing. I can hear a voice in the back ground vocals that kind of sounds like Lauryn.

She is known for her versatility, so I conclude that she probably changed her voice a little to fit the vibe of the song.
