The best way to keep a species from going extinct due to human activity is to get people to take them in as pets. Of course they have to be domesticated but that's why cats and dogs are the most successful species in the world besides us. Lemurs are cute like dogs and cats but are more intelligent and can do the same things monkeys can do. They would be especially useful for helping elderly and handicapped people in their homes.
I suppose he could be scared, but for the last 15 minutes before I shot this he had been trying to get the others to play with him by pulling their tails. It looked like to me that he was happy to finally have someone to play with.

Judging by the way he's behaving with the kids i think he is actually just playing and isnt scared or intimiadated by the kids. If you watch back he runs back and forth right by them, he would of run to the other end of the enclosure to get away from them if he was scared. Lemurs are really social and playful so he's probably just liking the attention
