When did you see them and where? I know they toured with Blancmange "Living on the Ceiling" tour. And they toured the UK with Howard Jones. Plus they supported Thomas Dolby in London one time. Could it have been with one of them? Apart from that, they pretty much headlined their own tours. They also did extensive tours of Europe where they enjoyed more chart success than they did here in the UK. Does that help, Walesy?
Is there ANY CD release out there right now that has this song on it? I'm dying to have a recording of it (still old-fashioned here and don't use i-pods, just CDs...)Been a fave song of mine since I first heard it back in the 80s ...
pentegom, their EP "Hired History" was never released on CD. A few of us die hard fans of Fiat Lux have been pushing the label for a CD release but to no avail. If you have a chance to listen to all their songs that were not "Hired History", it just makes you wonder why a full LP was never released. It could have been one of the best new wave LPs of the 80s.
You might want to try the brilliant Cherry Red records they have been releasing loads of rare stuff from the early 80's like Fashion, H2O, The Mood etc.
If they get enough of an interest they might release some Fiat Lux stuff.... You never know unless you ask...
Oh my god I can't believe this. This is my favourite song by them and if you told me I'd ever see a video of them I would have told you you were insane.
This is ace, proper ace even down the guy playing the wrong side of his bass.......

Polydor might have their CD on sale...only reason they didn't get to number 1 is because Polydor didnt publish enough of their records at the time!

Talk about some serious memory flashbacks..brilliant. They were like Depeche Mode without the backing.

There really is a conceptual video as well, I saw it on a U.S. vhs release called "Dont Watch That Watch This" ... but back in the late 80s!
