FF6(FF3) is often flamed by the ignorant later generations because they refused to play 2D games... and flame it purely on the belief that 3D games are just 'better' without actually trying FF6(FF3) first.

I've converted at least 20 people who used to say FF7 was better than FF6(FF3) so I beg to differ on FF7 being somehow 'better' in any way.

Mind you, FF7 still was pretty fun nonetheless :P but NOT better than FF6(FF3).

Also, I never understood why there was always an argument. Kefka's overrated because he's crazy and succeeds. Sephiroth is overrated because he's badass and "beautiful." Regardless, both 6 AND 7 are two of the best games in the series, which has yet to hit a truly remarkable high note since.

@MrMinkStar FF9 is very good, I'd higher suggest giving it a go, but FF8 is not better than 7 at all. It's all opinion but 8's storyline just didn't suck me in like 7's did. And the magic draw system got annoying really fast. Personally for the PS1 FF's i prefer FF7, then FF9 and then FF8 (though i wouldn't play it again). But the classics like FF2 and 6 are just amazing through and through.

Whereas I played FFVII for a few minutes last year and just was not entertained by it. I agree though, 8 does not look any more appealing at all. I will have to give 9 a chance sometime though...

Once you have played and really absorbed the content from the previous Final Fantasy's, then you'll see why a lot of people think FF7 is over rated.

If you only started playing Final Fantasy by playing FF7 first, you've really missed out on half the series.

Great, not perfect though... tempo is too fast, it's great you can play that fast but it kinda makes the song sound rushed.

also at 00:34 you missed a hammeron note, no biggy but it would have sounded friggin pimp.

This was the first Kurikinton Fox video I ever saw. When I first clicked on it, I figured I would see some kid slightly clumsily plucking out the basic melody on his guitar.
