@anvilofcrom The film was made in the 1970s mate. At the time only one tiger was working and that was not available for filming. The tanks used belonged to a props company and show up in several films from around that time. It would all get done with CGI now but, back then it was use these or build a fleet of brand new tigers. Surprisingly they decided building new tigers was a bit much just to make a flick.

This is a scene of a picture of the 70s.....in spanish was called "El ùltimo tanque" (the last tank). is about the offensive in the Ardennes wood. Very good movie.

Das sind keine Tiger II. Es handelt sich hierbei wahrscheinlich um M 48. Eine amerikanische Selbstfahrlafette, die bis in die 70er Jahre in Diensten der Bundeswehr gewesen ist. Ziemlich schlecht gemacht...

Es regen sich soviele darüber auf das die amerikanische Panzer verwendeten. Aber woher sollten die auch soviele Tiger II herbekommen. Ist klar das die amerikanische Rostlauben als deutsche ausgeben!

Ach so. Sorry, dann habe ich Dich falsch gelesen. Klar ist das schwierig, eine so große Menge an Tiger II herzubekommen. Aber ich finde es in diesen Filmen immer wieder einfach nur peinlich, dass sich nicht mal im Ansatz die Mühe gegeben wird. Nein, dann werden einfach amerikanische genommen und ein Kreuz draufgepinselt. Du musst auch mal achtgeben, was teilweise für Uniformen getragen werden... Da langst Du Dir nur noch an den Kopf. Fantasie kennt keine Grenzen. Grüße

Its The U.S. ARMY tank M 47 "Patton" , its not a WW2 tank its from the 1950s... there arent enough Kingtigers or Tigers to realize such a scene with the originals... even the half track in that scenes is the U.S. M16 Half track..
