Ever wonder why Sh. composed only 1 concerto for piano (Nr.2 is sort of noncocerto), but 15 symphonies? It has to do with the concept of getting away with things, being a Soviet he knew something about this. He could get the same symphony by the Sooviet public 15 times, but this would never work with a concerto. The way she tosses her mane, so dicreetly, adds to things. Think of Lang Lang with a do like that.
