I'm so mad at myself that I hated Deryck when he and Avril were married, but then I listened to some of his music and realized he was a gifted musician, and I heard some of his interviews and he seemed like a cool guy. Just as I started to like him, they got divorced. Even worse, Avril started hanging around that manwhore Brody Jenner, who's not even a real celebrity. Brody is turning Avril into one of those foolish girls he's dated in the past. Hope "Davril" will reunite some day.

Avril filed for separation in September, Deryck was seen all over another woman in October. Avril and Brody didn't get together until the following February and they've been together ever since. Deryck, however, has already gone through two women after Avril. The rumors must have sucked for both of them at the time.

Don't let every bit of media fool you, or plain and boring pictures of them hanging out tell a larger story than what was really going on. That's what writers are paid for, to make up a juicy lie, ensure their story-o-lies stands out and they get bigger. I never believed the Brandon/Avril rumors. Nothing ever suggested that it did happen.
