  • @charliebaetj It is a custom wooden handle i made outta wood and black wrap!

  • @JasonDMG have you tried the Nano yet or your just basing it off looks? I have te Glidecam Hd2000 now because my rig is heavier now.

  • would you sell this to me?

  • i like the glidecam , steadicam merlin better then this nano thing

  • how come your flycam nano has a longer handle than all the other videos iv seen?? good review, i think im gonna pick one up

  • I really need help balancing mine =( i feel like my camera is too heavy for it or something =(

  • Solid produck

  • anyone try a Gopro on this?

  • @crv26 Check out cheesycam . c o m , emm put a gopro on this but liked some other stabilizer better. I dont remember but... check it out.

  • @Qzyxya THank you brother! i definitely will look into that site. God bless

  • @crv26 no problem.

  • does it work for video cameras as well? Not a DSLR one? anything that is under 3 pounds (or the max weight you suggested)?

  • @yankeemanjoe2 I assume itd work with almost anything, it just might be hard to find the center of gravity and balance it. Go to cheesycam . c o m , it's a great site and emm, the creator reviewed this thing and knows all about it.

  • it's only trial and error if you don't know how to calculate it ;)

  • Perfec Produc.

  • Great review!! Would it work with a canon 60D 17-55mm f2.8?

  • @PelecanDesign Yeah, probably, but you won't be able to zoom or focus (unless you have 3 arms) so you'd want to set it at like F8 or something.

cheesycam . c o m has a video on this and a billion people asked about camera-lens combos. It might help.

  • Looks like the Perfec Produc!

  • where should I buy this? its like 180 on amazon, and i cant find it anywhere else

  • Drop the extension down a bit and lose some weight..it will be easier to balance

  • Hey i recently bought Flycam exactly the same as yours, one question! can u please explain how to control this thing? i balance it perfectly, but when i run it's just become uncontrolable, it just start spinning around in radom directions.

  • Is the flycam nano / DSLR much better than the Balvanz DV mini ?

  • more than 3 days i can't get it fixed ;( i am using canon rebel t3i 600d with a canon compact-macro lens 50mm... i need to figure out a way to it it soon or i will very useless...

  • why does mine look so much different

  • so the nano will hold the weight of a t2i and a tokina 11-16? ebay guides recommend that i buy the specific 'DSLR' nano cam which is about $50 more. but i see you're working with the nano mini version and it's holding that canon just fine.

can you assure me that this nano model will be okay for my canon?

  • Hi, Can we use it 'up side down'? Thank. :)

  • heres a test video of the newer model flycam youtube.com/watch?v=DWc55UIOhVU

  • ANYONE does it really matter what brand the quick release plate is? im kinda having trouble picking the right one

  • Is it a problem if i use it with a very light camcorder? Well its not like phone light but its pretty light.

  • Heya, I'm a girl, and i was wondering, do you think this will get really heavy for me, and will my arm start aching?

  • What website did you buy it from. I check B&H, Amazon, and its only on ebay but not sure if i can trust it. Is there anywhere else besides ebay?

  • so do you raccomend it for the 550d right? i'm looking for a videocamera and i was thinking to buy 550d but im still not sure, ive been told a lot of different things about it... is it good for shoot little sketch and short films? and is it ok to put 5 disk in the front and 5 in the back for the 550d?

  • you look like tiger wood with more hair. could be his brother. hehe

  • I just got mine and wow. it really IS a pain in the ass to balance. it goes off balance at the slightest change. Right now i have it almost balanced i think ( It looks almost balanced but I'm not sure about it. ) :\

  • the quick release plate kit that you bought...did it come with a vhs pin? or a red pin?

  • I doubt that you'll ever get it balanced correctly. Flycam states that the max weight is 700 grams (1.5 LBS). You have more than double that on it. It's amazing that you got it as good as you did. A DMC-GF1 is more appropriate for that model.

  • I manage to get it balance, with the kit lens, only three weight plates each side.

  • Your camera is mounted backwards....the lens should be over the cutout on the flycams mounting plate

  • i am at the point of paying some one to balance mine omg it is so hard

  • thanks for the review

  • I noticed every time you used a word that ends in "ct" ( product, perfect ) you leave out the "T" sound at the end. just an observation.

  • @THESEMD1 does this really fuckin matter? hahuuhaha

  • Hi mate, I'm trying to balance my 550D with 50mm1.8, no way I can't, how many weights do I need?

    thanks

  • @hotgypsylips

I used 5 in the front, and 5 in the back. It's a real pain in the ass, and it may take hours but it's just Trial and Error!!

  • @hotgypsylips I have 4 plates on each side using the 550d with kit lens and its balanced about as good as this one.

  • @hotgypsylips did you ever figure it out? I have the same setup. I am extremely close at 4 washers in the front, 5 in the back

  • dude, ure naked underneath? :P

  • @imobimo

Well of course! I always do reviews ass-naked......don't you?!?

  • @kellyhuffaker If you're serious, that's astonishingly sexy!

  • @kellyhuffaker lol!!!

  • I NEED YOUR HELP!! i dont know how to lengthen the center post! :( help?

  • @stanlymanly2

Mine was like that too. Just grab the platform with your left hand, and a pair of pliers with the right will loosen it up.

  • @kellyhuffaker THANKS! that was a scare. i thought mine was defective after that super stiff screw :O lol

  • would it hold a 5DII with the 24-105mmL?

    thanks

  • @hotgypsylips

That's a tad too heavy. The lens is heavier than the Tokina

  • @hotgypsylips There's a promo video on this product and they're using a 5DII. BUt i think you can also get more weight plates washers for it.

  • why do you have more weights in one side (in the lower part)?

  • is anyone else having problems loosening the bottom post? mine wont budge!!!

  • @BreandanRuch12 Really? You know what they say... if you don't have anything nice to say.

  • Thanks for posting the review kelly! I just picked one up and think it's a great product!

  • Hey, great review , Thanks a lot! :) I'm planning on buying one, i have a t2i also, do you think is worth buying the arm wrist also? is it heavy or no?

    Thanks!

  • hi... cud u pls tell us the exact product code for the same.... coz.. i am finding a 2 or 3 results for flycam nano search in ebay :(

    Thanks in advance :)

  • Are the weights just standard washers from Home Depot/Lowes?

Also, would you recommend this type of stabilizer over the Hague MMC (Merlin) style?

  • its not perfeK, this prduK...why can you not pronounce your T's

  • @BrendanRuch12 Sorry for the bad English. You plannin on picking one up for skate movies?

  • @BrendanRuch12 ... big deal? he's doing people a favor by posting this review. No need to knock a person because of the way they speak.

  • @BrendanRuch12 Why can't you be respectful?

  • Thanks man, gonna pick one up tomorrow!

  • @motu828mk2 It's just his accent. He's american

  • @motu828mk2 Why does it matter?!

  • Exactly how much does your camera setup weigh? I was thinking of buying the same product for my 7D, which with it`s current lens weighs in at 1440 grams (3.17465 pounds) Do you think it will work?

  • @E2DaXandah There's a promo video on this product and they're using a 5DII. BUt i think you can also get more weight plates for it.
