I don't get why this profession pays so much...they hardly do any work! Some nurses don't make that much

excuse me? you don't see half of the work a dental hygienst does!

@fxracngrl1017 I see they clean, some do x-rays and some screenings....what am i missing. Few do fillings....the ones that do are the ones who should be doing 35-40 hr.

@kmcl11 you're telling me Dental assitants do more than any Dental Hygienist and don't get half as much it's really very sad!To Nurses comment it depends what area you are in, I know nurses' that make $80,000 yr.

@Nali1582 Most nurses dont make that. Rns typically start around 24 an hour. I know one who started at 40/hr but that was yrs ago.
