Islam is not man made. The Quran is not man made - I am studying arabic and I am telling you - that book is 100% miracle. Its not about taking my word for it, if you want to find the truth, you will make the effort and discover that yourself. A challenge has been set 1400 years ago and stands till this day to prove the Quran IS a miracle - and that is - replicate a verse similar to the Quran, and muslims all over the world will denounce the religion. The smallest verse in the Quran is 3 lines.

@Tubnit, here is my proof. Islam was created as a religion around 600 AD. The prophet mohammed did not exist until that time frame. What did generations of people believe in before Islam was created. Mankind as we know it has been in existence 12000 years. (They have found graves dating back to that time frame in Isreal.) 5000 years ago we have the summerians who developed cuneiform of writing. They recorded their history, what did they believe in. The Quran is just another man made book.

now not everything these individuals say about our Prophet (pbuh) is correct, but at least something intelligent has come from them. Nevertheless, I think its about time that Christians stop trying to do away with things in the Bible which they do not understand or like by trying to explain it off as a parable. It is true that Jesus sometimes spoke in parables but so did all prophets that came before him. However, it is wrong to explain anything you don't agree with as merely a parable.

'a short allegorical story designed to illustrate or teach some truth, religious principle, or moral lesson. The problem is still there either way. When a person talks of "struggle" against there "fleshly" (i.e.,sin) nature, they are still speaking of trying to address the problem of sin and alienation from God under their own power & based on their own merit. Jesus explains however, they unless one is born again of the Water & Spirit they cannot see God/the Kingdom. We also know by the works of the Law shall no flesh be justified. I, though, don't have a degree in theology or comparative religion. I have not written a book or books on religion. What is his degree in? Where did he study? Has he been peer reviewed? For credibility we need to know these things. I won't resort to name calling, at least not at this point.

Sheikh Abdullah al-Faisal stated the Jesus preaches Jihad but what was his reference? The Qur'an. According to the Bible Jesus never preaches Jihad. We must compare both the Bible and Qu'ran to truly compare beliefs. I'm sure a Muslim would laugh at me if I tried to discredit their beliefs but only referenced the Bible.

Religion (for simplicity sake) is the belief and worshipping of God. How can you disprove the existence of God? In my opinion it is harder to disprove God, then it is to Prove His existence. Islam is not man made. The Quran is not man made - I am studying arabic and I am telling you - that book is 100% miracle. Its not about taking my word for it, if you want to find the truth, you will make the effort and discover that yourself. A challenge has been set 1400 years ago and stands till this day to prove the Quran IS a miracle - and that is - replicate a verse similar to the Quran, and muslims all over the world will denounce the religion. The smallest verse in the Quran is 3 lines.

@Tubnit, here is my proof. Islam was created as a religion around 600 AD. The prophet mohammed did not exist until that time frame. What did generations of people believe in before Islam was created. Mankind as we know it has been in existence 12000 years. (They have found graves dating back to that time frame in Isreal.) 5000 years ago we have the summerians who developed cuneiform of writing. They recorded their history, what did they believe in. The Quran is just another man made book.

And my eyes are not blind friend...I graduated from a Catholic university and took 3 theology courses: the 1st two were bible courses and the last one was "Christ the Savior" (in which a well educated priest took us through the different dimensions and viewpionts of Jesus).

now not everything these individuals say about our Prophet (pbuh) is correct, but at least something intelligent has come from them. Nevertheless, I think its about time that Christians stop trying to do away with things in the Bible which they do not understand or like by trying to explain it off as a parable. It is true that Jesus sometimes spoke in parables but so did all prophets that came before him. However, it is wrong to explain anything you don't agree with as merely a parable.

jado9999, You have cabbage for brains. 1st) Ezekiel is in the Old Testament, not the New, and so has nothing to do with Jesus. Jesus didn't say this and Ezekiel was written before He was even born. 2nd) You want more of these kinds of quotes in the Bible? I can give you more. The thing is, it doesn't matter. No Jew or Christian can do, literally, what these verses say and find anyone who will support him. No one. We have not interpreted these verses in this way. Such is not the case in Islam.

You have no choice but to escape from the Old Testament because you have no answer to these Mind boggling problems.
According to Christians Jesus was God incarnate, therefore Jesus was also the author of the inspirations which were sent to the Israelites living before Jesus' earthly decent.
You either acknowledge the Old Testament as scripture or reject your Lord, Christ who blatantly landed you in a quagmire
