  • Thanks for sharing this video. My road bike tire was much harder to replace, but this video was very helpful getting me steered in the right direction.

  • Nice my bell portable toolkit came with the levers, always wondered what they were lol

  • I'm trying this to my rear wheel.

  • Thank you so much this helped ALOT. I was able to fully fix my tire

  • I'm still doing something wrong. I just cant get the last bit back in.

  • Nice video. Just one point, make sure that the quick release is screwed up so the lever is just starting to grip when it sticking out at 90 degrees, then close the lever, then check it is tight. You really dont wont your front wheel coming out of the dropouts when riding !

  • Great video,, very informative,, Thank you :)

  • Great job!

  • Thanks! The older I get the more I become a "do-it-yourselfer". I had no clue how to do this but knew I didn't want to pay someone else to do it.

  • Thanks mate, you just saved me £25. You rock!

  • thanks mate youve helped me a hell of alot

  • porn musiccccccccccccc

  • gentle tap aye lol 0:42

  • Straight forward and accurate information, thanks man!

  • what is the choob?

  • Nice video in many ways, but I had to put the tube in the tire first; then put it on the wheel -- then it's quick and easy -- the other way was impossible for me.

  • Use rulers if you have no levers!

  • Good vid

  • ive wrecked 2 inner tubes on a rd bike- winner

  • "and again making sure the inner tube is inside", well didnt u just put it in before

  • Thanks for that bud, just what I needed!

  • Ok I went back to try for another 10 mins and don't understand why is my tyre is so tight against the rim and I can't even push the first lever into the gap.

  • I had to resort to this video because I have spent 2 hours trying to get the freaking tyre out and now my fingers are still black and wheel still behind me...

  • @Archergod I just used a screw driver to get the tire of the rim. Works great.

  • @xxviciousbeautyxx Yeah I did but it scratched my rim real bad so I stopped using them. My friend took them out eventually by bare hand!

  • I just ran over a bunch of goatheads!!

  • Great Video! Thanks for the help!

  • @DarkoMilicic31 circles do too have sides: inside and outside!! :-)

  • @sexxyperv Thanks mate, I'm not an english native speaker so I didn't really got that point :) Thanks anyway :)

  • Bet he's hung. Love that working class accent. Puts me in the mind of OLiver

  • Awesome job.

  • Thanks bike man :)

  • Thank you for the guide - your explanation of how to get the tyre back on was most helpful.

  • wow i need some of those levers

  • Thank you For the Video Saved me aLot of Time with the tire fix

  • ......good video but usually the flat tyre is the rear one...which is like impossible to take off so please recommend a vid for rear wheel vid to me

  • Is this the same for a bmx bike?

  • great video, im going to go do all that now.

  • For some of you down there VVV, a LOT of people use screwdrivers. I've never even heard of those yellow plastic things. Screwdrivers don't scratch my rim, and I don't use it all the way around the tire.

  • Excellent video. Screwdriver? I guess it might be used, but carrying an extra tube and a patch kit has saved me from being stranded in godforsaken nowhere more than once.

  • 2:35 That's not the best way to check the tyre. When you have found the hole in your inner tube, measure how far it is from the valve (by sight), and then check the tyre at that distance from the valve hole, by sight at first. If you're really clever, then make sure you keep the inner tube orientated the same way as it came off the wheel, so you'll only have to check one direction from the valve hole, on the tyre, to find the cause of the puncture.

Or use Dutch Perfect tyres - puncture proof.

  • this took a whole fucking hour...!!!

  • any pens????

  • Thanks Mike

  • youtube is the best (=

  • do u tight up the washer on the valve tight???? or loose?? i keep getting ripped where the base of the valve is... any solutions??? yes i have already filed the rim in case it was sharp... still get splits!!!! help!!!!

  • excellent video

  • im usualy not happy when air leaks from tube!

  • I LOVE YOUTUBE

  • @MrAussiechampion Same. I have learnt heaps of shit to fix my bikes.

  • Wish I had a couple of those levers.

  • @Toomnyusernae Any bike shop should have them. In a pinch I've sometimes carefully used a couple of screwdrivers.

  • @thodges314 Why would you be more likely to have two screwdrivers but not tyre levers? They only cost a few pounds, and are plastic. Screwdrivers? You must be having a laugh.

  • @packoftwenty I suspect a lot more people have screwdrivers then tyre levers because screwdrivers are versatile tools for any DIY, but tyre levers have a specialised use and are only likely to be had by regular cyclists.

  • @Toomnyusernae: Me too; All I had was a spatula... :)

  • @Toomnyusernae You can use two screw drivers for make shift levers...

  • @Toomnyusernae Use the handle of an ordinary knife that you eat with!

  • @Toomnyusernae Well, I removed it without them. Only wrenches.

  • thanks mike, you really helped me out! I admit I didn't have the levers so I used a screw driver, but I was very gentle.

  • This really help me out, thanks

  • Thanks dude!

  • great job. I love the patience in your voice.

  • l0l 4 real?

  • Includes BMX i ride through too much :D

  • if u have a hole in ur tire can u just get the tube or do u need to get a new tire as well.

  • it depends on how large the hole is

  • tube...the tire is just the "shield" that does all the work. If its a really big hole in the tire get a new one...but if it were just a little one, say a nail or pin hole, dont worry about it

  • If the wheel is not quick release the a solid axle will probably have a wheel nut, usually 15mm but this may vary. So, all you need is a spanner of the same size as the wheel nut. Hope this helps !

  • lol now with my custom bike "2 bike frames in 1 bike" do u think i wold need bigger wheels do to the added frame or should i keep the wheels i have on it? o.0

  • awesome dude|!

  • this includes dirtbikes too?

  • great. thank you.

  • thank you !

  • coolio thx
