Yeah, I have no disagreement there... There is talent in every genre. Yeah, mainstream rap sucks, so does mainstream pop, and mainstream country. But that's not to say Eminem sucks, 'cause he doesn't, but Lil Wayne does suck. Jack Johnson is a musician, Lil Wayne is not. Lil Wayne has no instrumentation, just a computerized fabricated beat... and the message is crap.

Jack Johnson. - What can you really say? The guy has taken sublime roots with Jr. Gong. Marley's routines and made them absolutely amazing... I am a musician myself of 19 years, and would love to play his or my songs with Jack anytime.. First of all his timing is impeccable as a guitarist. . Not being addicted of what's invented, new, modern and produced to make us "happy". Being Healthy, having a healthy family.. etc. that should be the real happiness. And being able to listen to great music and playing some guitar ;-) But i won't force you to be in my opinion :P
