So it is 3 am and I've been trying to yodel all evening (and now morning). My husband and child are now sleeping ... The funny thing about yodeling is that you have to be so loud ... and my husband is probably hearing this drowning cat, but it's actually me trying to yodel. Yodeling sounds awful if you cannot do it! I will learn to yodel! I am determined! Thank you Bonnie. I am a fan!

people cud try this and tell me if it works do the ououououou but dont go from lowest to highest. do it steady change back and forth low high low high ( not low high higher highest) it helped me so it may help u

this actually helps alot coz if u keep doing it over and over u start to feel the break more and more clearly but i think different syllables make it harder.

Great job! It is also an essential technique to practice if someone is trying to improvise their way through yodeling a melody. Kerry has even suggested that people try this if they want to get into more intricate style yodeling. Your intonation is surprisingly good despite your cold!

This will actually help me with what I've been struggling with.

A year ago I learned to yodel to Cowboy's Sweetheart, People at Karaoke really enjoy it when I do this song as they anticipate the yodeling.

I've been trying to figure out THIS yodeling part for a while now, but ended up sounding weird and scary - I even had my dog worried about me trying to learn this... LOL!

But this helps me a LOT.
