EEN9B,correct,i have heard a few and it dosnt work.Most great songs are covered by someone most originally.The originality here is so personal,a life/death thing,that "covering it"is meaningless.You are gettin 100% Curtis....anyone expressing such pain/alienation and humanity would probably not do covers....and notice JD did very few,Sister Ray being the only real example i can mention.....and it adds nothing to the LP.
