Her death wasn't even because of drugs. It could've been because of either alcohol, or because her body went into shock because she supposedly quit drugs cold turkey for a certain amount of time, causing her to die in her sleep. We won't know for sure for another few weeks.

Amy was talented no doubt about that, but she's not the best that I've heard. but this is not about us disputing who,s the best soul singer, believe me theres plenty of unknown great soul artist out there. winehouse was still a joy to listen to. it a shame she couldn't overcome her demons because she still had a lot to give. hope she at peace now

Its sad you know? Amy had one of the most beautiful voices in music and a lot of talent to boot. However her drug problem and that man she was dating was her only downfall. We didn't force her to take drugs after all. Her death isn't solely a consequence of her own actions, it's a consequence of our actions. "Amy's ugly. Amy's fat. Amy's only famous bc she's white."
