i watched the water rise and i watched it fall i seen the devastion on friends and families faces when they lost thier homes thank god none lost thier lives. My prayers go out to all those families who lost thier homes in flood of 2011.
regardless, the army corp of engineers can figure out a way to pipe in water up to Centrailia into the mines where the fires have been burning for over 40+ years and finally put out said fires. The entire town has been eradicated. The highway was moved & folks can't drive through that 'ghost town' anymore or your tires will literally melt and perhaps you'll fall into a sink hole! Then again, since the roads have been closed and blocked off, it's a tad hard for people to get their vehicles in.
FEMA will take care of everything. Rebuild on the flood plain. It's job security. We can all pay higher taxes. I bet you next year it's going to flood again. Twice as bad.
WHY the FUCK won't they flood Centrailia, PA where the underground coal fires have been smoldering for over 40+ years?!?!? It's not like the River isn't already up and crested NOT to take care of that problem as well! FIX IT! PUT OUT THE FIRES!!!!
