I am in to building wind gennies from scratch - check out some of my videos. In the US, a company called Southwest Windpower has several small wind turbines on the market - I really like their newest model - the Skystream 3.7 . Its is rated 1.8 KW ( 3.7 is the blade diameter in meters.) I installed one at a workshop this summer and it is a brilliant piece of machinery... check them out at skystreamenergy dot com.
I've heard of Southwest but I know that in Spain their wind generators don't last due to the the high salt water content causes them to rust and die! Therefore I've never really bought one plus it doesnt produce enough power to work for my place. It looks good though if that counts.
I've seen some of your wind gennies they look smart. I couldnt build one if I tried.
If you want to find out about the Gaia one check out 3xW Gaia-Wind dot com
