I think this scene's fantastic. :P Yeah, maybe it's unrealistic from a medical standpoint but I wouldn't care too much about that (I've seen much more unrealistic medical things on TV than in this scene). Brian's hilarious. :)

QAF is my single fave show to date and love everything about it. However, with this scene, since Ted was on life support....he should have been on a vent and not just have an O2 tube in his nose. That would have made the scene more authentic...from a medical standpoint. I mean there is no plug to pull.

most of the stuff in QAF looks kinda drawn from life .. but this scene is just unrealistic - i mean if someone choose to be a nurse i take it that the patients wellness and there were important for him and not to fuck around in the same room, beside the fact that it's much to risky to fuck in a patientsroom - i mean i understand that brian don't care but would this nurse really risk his job, whereas he could take brian to another room easily?

Ted took an overdose. He chose Brian legally to be the one to decide wether or not to pull the plug or not if he went into a coma. He did so because he thought none of the others had the heart-power to make that decision.

Maybe so, but he still took too much! Even Blake thought so as Ted was drinking it...
