The competition between USSR and USA made real many dreams. Without the cold war we wouldn't see such great achievements in space. But the cold war is over, and for the last 20 years we made almost no progress. Sorry to say that, but Russian space program nowdays is decaying. Even Fobos-Grunt cannot be launched since 2006. Sorry about it, but I hope in future the united mankind will reach Mars and Titan.
