So you dont buy into the concept of "Maintenance Free" ? Haha. That's another catch 22 for you. I side with you though, I'd rather do a little maintenance than spend a bunch on Made in China garbage. Good for you. Good video
Hidy from New Orleans man. What size lumber you using there? 1x2? I have this on my to do list, and have even bought the screen...which looks like yours...the sun reflecting stuff from the orange box lol. Thanks for the demo....exactly how I was thinking I could do it.
@countryboy158 Hello neighbor. I'm up north near Shreveport. The lumber was number one 1x2. The screen made such a difference in our air conditioning bill that I'm pretty sure they payed for themselves already. We also have a train track about 400 feet from our house and the screens cut the noise down a pretty good bit. If I can answer any questions, feel free to ask.
@calitrucker1 it took me a while to trust the laser but it is really very accurate. ps.sorry about your hood man. tried to leave a comment on your vid but for some reason it didnt take.

@ironhead41 man did i under estimate the amount of wood i was gonna need.i got 8 cut and got enough for maybe 3 more.number 1 lumber is priiiiiiiiiiiiiicey!!! ill have to wait till next time im home before i can afford more lumber.youll have to do a trowel video man. it would be funny! im sure you got a coffe grinder trowel or a cigar making trowel.
@bctruck i acctually thought about that........hehehe......i have watched your vids but havent commented much......ive been under the weather lately......my wife caught a bug, gave it to me, then i gave it back, she gave it back (it seemed never ending).....we feel great now tho.......
