I to attend the church of Christ, I was raised up in the Church, at 18 I strayed away, I think that was the best thing that ever happen to me, I always had questions that were unanswered, After I Married and had children,I began searching,I wanted answers, I studied with the Jehovah's witness, non denominational, 7Day advent. , Mormon, etc. then 1 Sat. I tuned in 2 the truth and love broad Bible study, started tuning in every Sat.Then I call the station N got directions and the rest is history.
I like this song...And in response to MyLife1973 (although from 2 years ago), It doesn't matter if it's trendy, listen to the words...They are praising the Lord through song and dance. That's all that matters.
God looks at the heart, man looks at the outward appearance. It's even more sad that people don't obey the Bible - instead, they judge by what they "see" (like on this dance video) and don't look at people's hearts. Does this sadden you? Or are you more concerned about "legalistics" of the church versus actually trying to understand people's hearts and looking into them? Isn't that what Jesus was all about? Would God the Father "put-down" his children who use their talents for him?
Too many people in Jesus' day "judged" him merely on his "appearance." They doubted that he was the Son of God. They called him a drunkard, and a "friend" of sinners. People refused to look at his heart - how he loved people, cared for them, encouraged them, and healed them. They denied his miracles, and doubted his teachings. It saddens me that today, that even so-called "Christians" look at each other, and merely look at one's appearance and refuse to look at people's hearts.

If David was a man "after God's own heart", then that quality is significant to God in both the OT and NT. I don't think God would change his mind on that one. Why would God abandon a statement like that, if Jesus came to "fulfill" the OT? "Fufilling" does not mean "abandoning" all OT philosophy, only the ones that are legalistic in nature. It is "legalistic" to say that you "can't dance anymore" to worship God. You're rules are but rules taught by men. It doesn't say dancing is forbidden.
All scripture is God-breathed, and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Tim 3:16-17. "All-Scripture" includes the entire Bible. Yes, the OT is for our learning, and I will learn from David that we can dance with all of our heart. He was not wrong in that at all. Why should dancing with all your heart be wrong now, esp. if it says in Colossians 3:17 to do everything in glory of Jesus

As someone who was a part of this performance, I was so pleased to see our teens dancing because I know it is something dear to their hearts and that they are talented at. I feel that the dancing was PURE and HONORABLE and therefore just a way to praise God. I know it made them feel more connected to their church family.

As someone who was a part of this performance, I was so pleased to see our teens dancing because I know it is something dear to their hearts and that they are talented at.
