I test drove this car and i have to say. It looks great but you have to be a complete knob to buy it for it's performance.

@josh053In terms of speed you are correct. This is not a ricer or a fast as you can go car. It is quick and by that I mean it is properly quick car but nothing more. The suspension is nice, the cornering is pretty good. And the brakes well they just work and they work well. Top speed at 147, 0-60 in 6.5 seconds, and it feels like quality and is a very fun car to drive. No one buys a GTI because it's the fastest car in the world, they buy it because it is a refined,affordable, quick touring car.

Mk6 GTI is possibly the best-looking out of previous generations. Mk5 is okay, but this one's incredibly hot

4th generation GTI looked the best and hottest! Very Euro lines on the Mk4's. The '337' and '20th AE' GTI's (all Mk4's) were absolutely gorgeous, and looked every part German.

So what do you think the Mark 6 Vw's looks like ? it looks Euro to me, Maybe even a bit Japanese. Regardless a sweet new look. And my favorite part about the whole car, No more red and blue dash lights ! Loving the bright crisp white ones.

The Mk6 looks nicer than the Mk5, but still not as Euro looking as the Mk4. Regarding the 'red on blue' dash lights, I think they look stunning! And visually, very practical. I always receive compliments on the dash lights at night!

5th gen was probably the least golf-looking golf ever. I like my golf simple and classy, which the 5th gen was not. I like how it's not back to the classy golf looks. I'll probably get  the 2010 gti when it gets here.

I was just at the auto show and sat in this exact car... it has the same steering wheel as the lambo gallardo!

hey was the front seats sporty like...where you see in like typical sports cars

the front seats were like a combination of the the mkv gti, and the new scirocco. same shape as the mkv, but it had those leather lines going across like the scirocco. but yes they were sporty and firm... but not too. not recaro's, but definitely not cadillac seats. i though they were perfect.
