i don't think that this was suposed to be season 9. i think they planed this as a spin-off of scrubs because in the title screen it says scrubs then it says med school so i count this season as a spin-off of scrubs not season 9

I actually liked this season a lot. I don't know why some people find it so difficult to adapt to changes. Probably seasons 1 - 8 were better but this was great and quite funny, I liked the new characters and I hope they continue this one day.

I think that the reason i dont like this season is that the overly sensitive character is a woman and I only say that because it was a lot funnier when JD was that archtype because stereotypically, its less likely for that to be found on a guy.

I'll never understand why Zach Braff and Judy Reyes wanted to leave so bad. They got a show like Scrubs which was so popular but they wanted to do other stuff? Come on! They could've continued it for another couple of years. How did they not get that they'd never have any success like Scrubs again? Sure they wanted to try new things but nothing will be as popular as Scrubs. Same with the cast of most other sitcoms

@ooolmo ABC asked Bill Lawrence to continue Scrubs after the success of Season 8. He didn't want to but said alright but he wanted to make it as a spin-off called Scrubs: Med School. ABC said no and wanted it as Season 9 but Bill Lawrence did end up putting Med School in the title but it's still Season 9. Many Scrubs fans including myself accepted this as a spin-off cos it works that way. It has the same comedy style as original Scrubs. If it had been a spin-off, it might not have failed.
