@jack0eagle Hi Jack, why would you do it without a hairband if it sounds better using one? I guess it just takes a lot of practice if you don't wanna use it. But it's almost imossible to play this without hearing any noise from other strings, that's why I used it. Not to 'cheat', as some say. Could you do a video of you doing this lick? I'd like to see it! I've mailed hundreds of tabs around the world the past few years, I'd like to see someone do a cover!

It's not a guitar synth, this is electric guitar-- unless you're refering to the fact that the distortion is synthesized, in that case you need to shut the fuck up and go back to acoustic because electric guitar is about dampening all the string noise.

Unfortunately we don't, maybe getting 80 w/ luck, and it'd be a huge waste of time to invest it all in making sure one single technique was flawless (assuming it even is, considering the guitar is so sensitive with distortion it's almost impossible IMO)

Even Chris Broderick who is one of the best in the field still has string noise, and he plays: Quote: "14 hours a day"

It's a capo, it clamps onto your strings and temporarily barres them.

It's a very cheap RG 320 FM actually, I customized it a bit by changing the knobs and the pick-ups. It's now loaded with a Bill Lawrence L500 in the bridge and a 'zebra' DiMarzio PAF Pro in the neck.

My videos seem to be out of sync when I record them to start with, so i just move the video's audio along while editing it so it appears to be in perfect sync. Maybe its the filetype you're saving it as?
