Man, I LOVED this promo! Even though it wasn't much, it still gave you that suspense and creepy feeling with the music! I think they should keep that bell tower music for all the finale promos! I found it SO EPIC!! ;D
season 6 is not the greatest yet.. but who is the mother of all... is that suppose to be the season's story line... i think there will be a cliffhanger in the finale hopefully there will be a 7th season.. this is my favorite show

When Twilight will die in a year or 2 (like Harry potter crazyness died), Vampire Crap will die too...and Smallville won't have another season (it's official). If the CW cancel Spn, they'll be in a lot of trouble

@Alecramsay1227 urgh at least harry potter had some decent backround idea behind the books- with twilight (an ive read all the books) its just a plain lovestory without any deeper insentive behind it... or at least that was my impression. so i prefer 100 hp fans over 10 crazy twilight fans any day of the week- i i guess it depends where you look, the crazyness might have cooled down in the media, but underground the hype is the same as it was 5 years ago

Supernatural has such strong and good characters that have been building since season one, and this ending was the only one that made sense after all this time... ok i really have to go now- talk to you later =)

@FanaticInvalid At the end of the episode when Chuck was commentating he said "I think this was a test, and I think Sam and Dean did all right. But now it's the end...then again nothing really ends does it?" and then he disappeared like how angels do. so either he's an angel or he's God. But it'd be weird because in the episode they met him and he realized he was a prophet he said "I don't understand how this can be...unless I'm God, I must be God!"
@Sullivanwushere true but, like, sincehe was a prophet maybe it was something else? My friend and me have been talking about it all last night... we came up with the idea that maybe since he was a prophet once he delivered the news of the future and did what he was supposed to he just dissapeared. Like, he never existed. i dont know, maybe we'll find out next season. Thats a pretty good reason to suspect that though.
@FanaticInvalid Someone told me that prophets go to heaven when they finish their jobs writing what they are supposed to write about, and he had the story done, so he probably went to heaven or something.
@Sullivanwushere Dude, I agree. I watched that and I thought "HOLY F***ING CRAP!!! THIS GUYS GOD!!!". I didn't like the ending though because Sam just was so.... (Fill in the blank here, because I have NO IDEA how to describe what I was feeling.) And Dean was all sad. (This is what? Sam's second or third death that he's witnessed?)

I know Im going to get the hammer for this(from die-hards) but the season finale blew. People dying and being brought back has been done to death!! Whats the point of doing anything if nobody DIES??Where's the risk?? Sam/Lucifer gets thrown into the pit. Then Michael falls in. Oh then Sam/Lucifer gets back out. WTF??? No explanations are offered for anything Dean is sitting in some old fling's house playing "house". This is the mind blowing season finale???

@DrewZ2ube I agree with you a little bit, but not totally. It's weird how they suddenly bring back some chick in the the last couple episodes of this season that we haven't seen in forever, in fact i didn't even know who the hell she was. All the sudden dean is in the house w/ his new family. Also I don't know if it was me, but they could have made an epic fight scene at the end with very cool powers we haven't scene before, but the most editing we got out of that scene was castiel exploding.
@nothinglikegaming -Yes!! They could have had a great fight scene! I still think Dean should have said yes/played Michael. But a fight between Michael and Lucifer could have been something to remember.Sam and Dean started it,they should have finished it. They completely blew the ending here. Dropped the ball.
@DrewZ2ube hmmm i think you didnt get the point of the end... watch it again and think about what chuck says! The whole point of the show was and will always be that family is the most important thing there is, and ´thats why the final ended as it did.

Um.."He who begins it is the only one who can finish it."-Remember that? Dean started it. Adam ended it. Big failure. How can it be about "family" when your actions end the WORLD?

@DrewZ2ube But thats the whole point- sam and dean where manipulated into this situation, heaven and hell didnt really care about anything but their own fight, not about humans not about earth- so when michael and luci finally wanted to fight dean comes along and brings into the situation the human element!the fight would have distroyed earth, most of humankind so our favourite brothers stoped it- family stopped it! Team free will, you know?
@liabe18 - Dean wasn't manipulated into anything.He willingly sold his soul,willingly went to hell,willingly broke the 1st seal. Sam willingly followed a demon(Ruby)in search of revenge despite warnings from angels and his brother. I don't see manipulation,I see two guys who were very self-serving that played with fire...and got burned.

@DrewZ2ube yes they made choices, but all through season 5 the angels and the devil wanted to give them the idea that their lives had been planed out in this way and there was nothing that could stop the ending they had planed for them from happening

@liabe18- I had thought that may have been Sam under the streetlight without Lucifer. I didnt know for sure,but I had an idea. Even still that just leaves more holes. More questions(IF that is Sam.) If you noticed the streetlight reacted to him being there. The being about "family" seems a relative statement. If I wanted t see a show about "family" I would have watched 7th heaven. And remember,there's more than just Kripke at work here. And from what I understand his ideas have been 'changed'.
@DrewZ2ube of course its a relative statement, but i mean the importance of family is kind of the underlining moral of the story, you know? of course its about demons and hunters and angels and devils- saving people hunting things - BUT thats nothing we as the viewers take away from it, i mean i dont watch supernatural so i know that salt and iron will scare ghost away and whatnot,
@DrewZ2ube when i watch the show the thing that i take away with me is that i admire sam and deans bond, the way they look out for each other, die for each other (how many times has it been now??)and the final gave me the feeling that it doesnt matter who you are up against, or what powers or strengh you have, family and love (sorry for sounding cheese) is what it boils down to, it is family that saves the world.
@DrewZ2ube just imagine what the moral would have been if dean and sam had both said yes, if after everything they did, all their fighting against giving in to destiny, they would have fought against each other as michael and luci, killing half the world and each other- what kind of point wóuld that ending have made? that no matter how hard we fight, how much we know what is right and wroing we cant go against destiny? well now- THAT would have been a terrible ending...
@liabe18 -Actually that would have been great story telling. It would have been real. There are consequences for all of our actions and life is not fair. Just because we do WHAT WE THINK(OR KNOW IS) is right, doesn't mean that the outcome is going to correspond. There's that old saying,"No good deed goes unpunished." All that really happened is that everybody just kept getting ressurected, which became horribly redundant(sp) The HAPPY ending isn't always the BEST ending.
I think Sam did get returned that's why we saw him staring into the window at Dean at the end of the show.He probably want's Dean to live a normal life now
@LawlietandLight i think when sam and michael went down the pitt their bodies will be destroyed. Remember when lucifer was free he had to go get a vessel. So its clear he doesn't have one when he's down there. I expect God brought him back or some angel. Its also clear that Zachariah kept bring the brothers back from death so its possible.
I just hope next season doesn't go back to the old season stuff with minor supernatural stuff (ghosts, werewolfs etc).
I see nothing wrong with bringing the show down a level or two. I mean, they can't really fight the next big bad now, since Lucifer was the top of that chain. The only reasonable option is to go in the reverse direction, just as the rumors are saying the show will do.
@AndrewDeLong yeah i'm just scared it might be boring. I love supernatural. I love when it gets all personal instead of saving other peoples lives all the time. They've done that enough. But hey i'd rather have alright episodes of supernatural than no supernatural.
@Gektek yeah. i hate when great tv shows come to an end. you miss the actors/characters the most. My all time fav show (if not, a tie with Supernatural) is 24. Thats ending forever in like 3 episodes :( I wouldn't be able to survive after Supernatural ends next year.

Oh dear God i am having a panic attack from watching this. So freaked out to see what is going to happen. Poor Dean, even worst poor Sam if Dean can't get through to him.
i have a feeling that this episode is going to be mostly full of talk scene's which is boring. 4 out of 5 episodes in this season is full of boring talk and no action
ok here's my theory about what's goin to happen... i don't think sammy's gunna get the devil in the cage. cuz common it's the devil they can't just beat him that quickly. i do think he is going to jump in him though. but as we see from the video dean is beat up so i think that the devil in sam's body beats him up. i think that the apocolypse will happen and the world is going to start going down the toilet. next season is going to be about dean getting through to sammy=) well just a theory:)
@natane08 Dean is going to say yes to Michael in this episode I think. If you look at the promo pictures then you can see Dean holding up his hand exactly as if an angel of a demon is casting a spell. His haircut is also the same as his fahter when he was possessed by Michael, and he wears a jacket with a much brighter color

people, the apocalypse storyine is being finished in this episode, sam and dean will be sam and dean in the next season, not michael or lucifer, the apocalypse will be over and done, the next season will be focused on them, and as for one of them dying, thats too predictable, what kind of lame ending would that be, and what god will resurrect them? come one, the writers are more creative than that, using resurrections again would ruin the show and be over done

I knew it was a terribly idea letting Lucifer in. Now poor Dean gets pummeled to pieces and Sam becomes a prisoner in his own body(again) while Dean gets beaten by his hand. Give me a break Kripke. Is it too much to ask for an episode where the brothers are worry and harm free? While being brotherly? Instead of being used to torture each other?

I know Im going to get the hammer for this(from die-hards) but the season finale blew. People dying and being brought back has been done to death!! Whats the point of doing anything if nobody DIES??Where's the risk?? Sam/Lucifer gets thrown into the pit. Then Michael falls in. Oh then Sam/Lucifer gets back out. WTF??? No explanations are offered for anything Dean is sitting in some old fling's house playing "house". This is the mind blowing season finale???

It's weird how they suddenly bring back some chick in the the last couple episodes of this season that we haven't seen in forever, in fact i didn't even know who the hell she was. All the sudden dean is in the house w/ his new family. Also I don't know if it was me, but they could have made an epic fight scene at the end with very cool powers we haven't scene before, but the most editing we got out of that scene was castiel exploding.

But a fight between Michael and Lucifer could have been something to remember.Sam and Dean started it,they should have finished it. They completely blew the ending here. Dropped the ball.

Um.."He who begins it is the only one who can finish it."-Remember that? Dean started it. Adam ended it. Big failure. How can it be about "family" when your actions end the WORLD?

@DrewZ2ube But thats the whole point- sam and dean where manipulated into this situation, heaven and hell didnt really care about anything but their own fight, not about humans not about earth- so when michael and luci finally wanted to fight dean comes along and brings into the situation the human element!the fight would have distroyed earth, most of humankind so our favourite brothers stoped it- family stopped it! Team free will, you know?

@liabe18 - Dean wasn't manipulated into anything.He willingly sold his soul,willingly went to hell,willingly broke the 1st seal. Sam willingly followed a demon(Ruby)in search of revenge despite warnings from angels and his brother. I don't see manipulation,I see two guys who were very self-serving that played with fire...and got burned.

@DrewZ2ube and the only reason sam did pull free of luci in the end was love, love for dean love for family =) so does chuck say at the end "somehow this was a test for sam and dean, against devils and angels and god himselve they chose family. and isnt that kind of the whole point?" so yeah i guess a fight would have been impressive or whatever, but it wouldnt have fit- the whole show was about two brothers, that loved each other and, in the end, didn't betray each other.

@liabe18- I had thought that may have been Sam under the streetlight without Lucifer. I didnt know for sure,but I had an idea. Even still that just leaves more holes. More questions(IF that is Sam.) If you noticed the streetlight reacted to him being there. The being about "family" seems a relative statement. If I wanted t see a show about "family" I would have watched 7th heaven. And remember,there's more than just Kripke at work here. And from what I understand his ideas have been 'changed'.

@DrewZ2ube when i watch the show the thing that i take away with me is that i admire sam and deans bond, the way they look out for each other, die for each other (how many times has it been now??)and the final gave me the feeling that it doesnt matter who you are up against, or what powers or strengh you have, family and love (sorry for sounding cheese) is what it boils down to, it is family that saves the world.

@liabe18 -Actually that would have been great story telling. It would have been real. There are consequences for all of our actions and life is not fair. Just because we do WHAT WE THINK(OR KNOW IS) is right, doesn't mean that the outcome is going to correspond. There's that old saying,"No good deed goes unpunished." All that really happened is that everybody just kept getting ressurected, which became horribly redundant(sp) The HAPPY ending isn't always the BEST ending.

@LawlietandLight i think when sam and michael went down the pitt their bodies will be destroyed. Remember when lucifer was free he had to go get a vessel. So its clear he doesn't have one when he's down there. I expect God brought him back or some angel. Its also clear that Zachariah kept bring the brothers back from death so its possible.
I just hope next season doesn't go back to the old season stuff with minor supernatural stuff (ghosts, werewolfs etc).

I see nothing wrong with bringing the show down a level or two. I mean, they can't really fight the next big bad now, since Lucifer was the top of that chain. The only reasonable option is to go in the reverse direction, just as the rumors are saying the show will do.

@Gektek yeah. i hate when great tv shows come to an end. you miss the actors/characters the most. My all time fav show (if not, a tie with Supernatural) is 24. Thats ending forever in like 3 episodes :( I wouldn't be able to survive after Supernatural ends next year.

ok here's my theory about what's goin to happen... i don't think sammy's gunna get the devil in the cage. cuz common it's the devil they can't just beat him that quickly. i do think he is going to jump in him though. but as we see from the video dean is beat up so i think that the devil in sam's body beats him up. i think that the apocolypse will happen and the world is going to start going down the toilet. next season is going to be about dean getting through to sammy=) well just a theory:)

If you look at the promo pictures then you can see Dean holding up his hand exactly as if an angel of a demon is casting a spell. His haircut is also the same as his fahter when he was possessed by Michael, and he wears a jacket with a much brighter color

people, the apocalypse storyine is being finished in this episode, sam and dean will be sam and dean in the next season, not michael or lucifer, the apocalypse will be over and done, the next season will be focused on them, and as for one of them dying, thats too predictable, what kind of lame ending would that be, and what god will resurrect them? come one, the writers are more creative than that, using resurrections again would ruin the show and be over done

I knew it was a terribly idea letting Lucifer in. Now poor Dean gets pummeled to pieces and Sam becomes a prisoner in his own body(again) while Dean gets beaten by his hand. Give me a break Kripke. Is it too much to ask for an episode where the brothers are worry and harm free? While being brotherly? Instead of being used to torture each other?
