@Baritone45 - In another video she says (in Japanese) that she went to Japan at the age of 15 for some high school exchange program and always wanted to come back. From that time, she began to study Japanese. She is Canadian. I think I got it right, my Japanese is not so great (I don't study, I just absorb it). :P

I think the fact that Sarah can sing in another language w/out people bashing on her accent makes her pretty skillful. Her Mandarin accent is not that bad either. She probably sings better than Cantonese speakers trying to learn Mandarin.

There's nothing wrong with appreciating another culture's language or music. BTW, national/racial pride is overrated. It annoys me when people get so worked up about defining someone ELSE's identity.
