Dude, you need WAY bigger speaker wire going from your amp to your sub! Get some 8 or 10 awg, then you'll notice a big diff! I ran into this, so try it

Steve Meade uses several runs of 0 gauge wire (yes, 0 gauge is real). 8 gauge can only efficiently transfer about 800-1500 watts depending on the brand of cable and how good of quality it is. 30,000 watts would probably end up melting the cable. Also, this setup right here should be using 4 or 8 gauge. 12 is way too small.

What did you do to put in a sub without having to replace the cd player. Is there some type of clip to install to keep the original CD player in. If so how much and where did you get it.
its an adapter... u have to go to an audio place and there about 20-25 bucks... i have stock deck cus theres no dash kit for my car... it cost 25 bucks for me or ur gonna have to get a radio hardness (agian three was none of that either)

spl boxes are tuned for 30-35 hz for 15's if not lower...and if you are using that same 18 gauge wire thru out the box then you are adding resistance to the amp and not getting full power to the sub. need to get atleast 12 gauge.

spl boxs are tuned from 45-60hz you dont know anything about spl. 30-35hz is street bass.12 guage wire is over kill for the amount of power i have.
anyways there is only a .01 volt lose across any good connection the the power lost will never be noticed.and im using 14awg wire.
