H.R.Giger ist schon gigantisch interessant. Der Film hier auch. MIr gefällt der Schnitt sehr gut mit den Fenstern.

Die Xenomorphe (Giger hat ihnen ja diesen Namen gegeben) sind die beste Idee, die ich kenne. von allen Aliens, die ich bisher geshen habe, finde ich die Xenomrphe am faszinirsten...Ich habe"faszinirsten" lange nicht geschrieben...ist das so richtig geschrieben?

@Kopfabschneider ja, es gibt mindestens 2 necronomicons, nämlich das von lovecraft und das von H.R. giger. in wie fern die sich unterscheiden weiss ich nicht.

ich habe mal nach Cthulhu gegoogelt und auf wikipedia steht, dass diese kreaturen interstellare Wesenheiten sind und das heisst nichts anderes als aliens. die grossen alten sind also ausserirdische.

der zusammenhang zwischen den beiden necronomicons und den aliens wäre somit geklärt...

@Kopfabschneider Das Necronomicon von Lovecraft ist wahrscheinlich nicht das selbe wie das von H.R. Giger. Wenn es das selbe wäre, hätte es Giger ja nur abgeschrieben. Das hat er aber nicht... Ich denke mal, ohne es gelesen zu haben, dass das Necronomicon von H.R. Giger von Aliens handelt...

Du sagst das Necronomicon von Lovecraft handelt von den grossen Alten. Wer sind diese Alten? Könnten diese Alten auch Aliens sein?

@Kopfabschneider, dir wurde wohl auch schon der Kopf abgeschnitten, wenn du die Zusammenhänge nicht mehr erkennst, was? Ich empfehle dir das Video noch einmal zu schauen, aber ein bisschen konzentrierter als das letzte Mal und dann kommts dir von ganz alleine, hoffe ich doch sehr :)

Das Necronomicon ist eng verbunden mit der Realisierung von Alien...

@MetalScull, im on the way. i wrote everything down in german, then translated it to english and in the next days im going to make the subtitles. a lot of work for free but i see that many youtube people wish to have a translation. at the moment i just can say wait a little while, im on it...

Interesting interview. The music was simple-minded and didn't do the subject justice, though. Also, the audio for the narrator (or whatever the guy doing the VO is called) is a bit harsh. Very good interview, though with some solid information.

yes, giger´s visionary brain - - sure he is brillant, but look at an ordirary oldfashioned stapler with ejectable magazine and you can guess where gigers "nightmares about aliens" came from ))

besides giger did not invent the alien for the film, he had already painted this before, and ridley scott just chose it to be the creature for alien when looking at the necronomicon 1
