  • have to love ron burgandy on jazz flute in the background!!

  • The flute solo reminds me of locomotive breath by Jethro Tull :D

  • SUCH a good band.

  • What album is this ?

  • @ImSoVintage Eponymous. Selftitled. Wolfmother.

  • Wolfmother are the sons of Deep Purple!

  • this is the best use of a flute Ive heard since Ron Burgundy.

  • @09spartan90 play sum yazz floot for us mistir burgandie.

  • @09spartan90 When I heard this song when the CD first came out ages ago, I was laughing my ass off at the thought of will ferrel playing this haha

  • just heard the song woman and i fuckin love this band

  • @Redmangoneraged and im country haha

  • Not my favourite song by Wolfmother, but the flute in this is amazing!!

  • this song is guaranteed the most underrated song on youtube if it has only 80,000 views. Im just happy that I'm one of the few people that discovered this masterpiece :^)

  • that intro riff reminds me of a different song. i don't know the name of the track or the band. the lyrics is something '...by the river' i guess. can anyone help me finding that song, please ?

  • @Basstoll Maybe a song from Kasabian like Shoot the Runner or Fire or Take Aim :)

  • The flute sounds like it would be in little big planet

  • @TheFunniestGuyEver No it is dying even back then there wasn't really a mainstream. Almost everyband had their own style and sound. Now you can't even tell bands apart when you're listening to them on the radio. The creativity in rock no the creativity in music is dying just like Art, Music is dying.

  • @TheFunniestGuyEver I doubt it, music is dying and my generation is to blame for it.

  • @StalkingRainbow EVER HEARD OF DISCO?

  • @BarryProvolone Disco.....fuck yeah!!........

  • 2:17 I just love the FLUTE!!!! Wolfmother never heard a better version of rock + Flute!!!

  • @TheFunniestGuyEver i hope man..i hope

  • Good flute solo, but it's nothing compared to Ian's playing, search up "My God" if you don't believe me.

I feel like I've heard this riff somewhere else before to.

  • god damn... this is the only other band i heard with GOOD flute in it... behind Jethro Tull... but they pretty much invented rock flute for fuck sake!

  • i think he sounds better in studio thank live because it sounds like he has a powerful voice and can get very loud and isnt able to do that live. he sounds like ehr is just talking live. where in studio versions he can sing as loud as he wants.

  • so epic

  • "jazz flute is for little fairy boys". However, I agree that rock flute is not for little fairy boys...

  • @DavidR90 So then you disagree?

  • @JackBuck44 Oh yeah...oops. I don't proofread; makes me look less intelligent. I strive for such things...

  • Fuckin' Good Song...

  • this could be a song of the black keys, listening to only the music (not the voice)

    love it

  • @Landerkuh

voice is sounding very zeppelin-y on this song

  • haha they need a new drummer lmao

  • Nice

  • andrew has unique voice.

  • Bought this album the day it came out

  • great band remainds me of led zeppelin and jethro tull

  • Robert Plant?!?! xD

    WOLFMOTHER FTW

  • There is hope in music guys.

i Just hope so f***ing much that about 10 years music is going to a new REAL rock Fase!!

  • @jamirosmajicrocks , lets hope brother

  • lol Flute solo FTW!

  • Their sound is great. It reminds me a lot of a band you would have seen at Woodstock. It's nice that they bring back a classic 60's and 70's rock sound. There are too many mediocre bands with the same sound. Too many Nickelbacks and Green Days and whatnot. That's why I listen to classic rock. It's SO MUCH BETTER than any of the crap that floods the airwaves now. You won't hear about a lot of these modern bands in 20 years.

  • @LoveIsMyOnlyFreedom I don't know if I'd really compare them to a 60's - 70's band. I very much love this band and one of my favorite things about them is (in my opinion) they totaly have a sound of their own. They sound great and don't need to sound like any other band. What kind of band is Wolfmother? It's Wolfmother.

  • damn the rock flute sounds better with wolfmother than it ever did with jethro tull...

  • i think that wolfmother its 1 of the only few bands who plays real rock music today....

  • Aaahh I love this song!

  • jethro tull influencia

  • Duuude, Modern day zeppelin? Am I rigght?

  • @Jardanowski before they got big they actually got called a copy of led zeppelin!

  • @Jardanowski Fuck yeah nailed!

  • loco putos ...

  • Thanks you for your business. Enjoy your purchase. Welcome back anytime

  • webos putos

  • i love the rock flute

  • @turtledude400, that's Mr. Dan Higgins on flute! If you look up Jam Tune 5, you'll hear some more of his really great flute work!

  • @turtledude400 I want to learn that part, but it's so hard

  • @turtledude400 Sounds a lot like Jethro Tull's.

  • LoveLoveLoveeeeee<3

  • i don't care who's album cover they "stole" they still rock, they could have stolen def leppards hysteria cover and i wouldn't give a shit

  • not really, on that album its a fat chick, with a tower. not the same.

  • as much as i like wolfmother, i have to say they did basically steal Ulysses Sirens album cover.

  • thank u! i dont have a problem with wolfmother either but they do pretty much have the same album cover

  • It's a painting by Frank Frazetta, not done for either band. So they both stole it from him. Molly Hatchet also has an album with his paintings on it. Maybe multiple but I only know of one.

  • Holy shit a flute!

  • 2:13

Whoa, even a flute? I never noticed that before. Man, they even sound like Jethro Tull at times. Dang.

  • they sound alot like parlor mob

  • ur an idiot they sound like wolfmother notmgay pikajew shit

  • Wolfmother and a few other bands are the only Bands holding true music in its place.

Hope they don't change with the new drummer....

  • totally

  • @HeatMaster22 got that right it was a real shame when the rest of the old band left andrew stockdale to find new peps cuz i think that the wolfmother album was better than the cosmic egg one

  • @HeatMaster22 And now you know that they totally did change...

  • @Scaronar NO they didn't. Trust me

  • @Scaronar They didn't change coz they aren't stupid fags like most of pop stars (not artists) who's doing music for money. They know what they love and what they doing.

Make another CD better than other, Wolfs!

  • @HeatMaster22 As long as Andrew Stockdale is there I don't think you need to worry about that as he accounts for so much of their sound.

  • @HeatMaster22 what happened to the old one?!

  • @BournemouthVEVO He quit

  • @obamabinlarden Oh right, so it wasn't like when the Avenged Sevenfold Bassist died then :P

  • @HeatMaster22 and the new bassist/keyboardist* and the new guitarist...

  • Wolfmother is so awesome because they keep the garage band sound. Brings back memories of high school.

  • lol wen i read that i laughed for 2 mins strait

  • This song makes me have orgasms, nuff said

  • btw, its called a joke

  • lol

  • btw I didn't mean I'm lying this song is shit, when i said its called a joke, I just meant... incase anyone didn't realise, that it doesn't really make me do that

  • 2:13

  • Ya, they are definitely not an old band, but their sound is heavily influenced by older rock like Led Zeppelin. Its an interesting kind of vibe they have going on and I think its pretty good. It seems a little disorganized or just...I dunno how to describe it but.....some songs are just trying to hard to be freaky and psychadellic. I dunno, its still better than a lot of crap out there now.

  • Wow dude they formed in 2000.

I can understand the mistake but they didn't.

    Don't flame the person ok.

    Amazing song!!

  • you probably have no idea when these songs were written. they were probably influenced by the 80's, i mean it really shows in their music. i read someones comment on another song and even this person said when he listened to wolfmother it reminded him of the 80's.this music even reminds of the 60's too.i think this music would have been more appreciated in those times. cos of the respect and talent that came out of those ages.i mean mtv nowsdays, brittny spears.wtf

  • wolfmother isn't from the 8o's

  • the reason why this song hasent had many comments is because wolfmother was probably more popular in the 80's and now where are we.? kind of an unrated band now'a days,

    still great music

  • This came out in 05.

    They didn't form until 2000

  • dumbass. wolfmother is a fairly new band. the first wolfmother album came out in '05

  • the first wolfmother album is a masterpiece!

  • this song makes me go completely wild

    it's got such great energy

  • this song ROCKS!!!!!

  • This song is for snakes

  • Gee, REALLY NICE SONG

  • wonder y no 1z really commented?lol

  • LOLOLOL FIRST COMMENT LOLOLOLOL
