@zenolia3 Exactly it. Judas Priest doesn't do these kinda things like be on American Idol so for them to be on a show like this for James says something. He just needs to work on performing like himself not others and I think that's a lot of why people think he seems fake. He's young; everyone starts out imitating their inspiration and I believe he'll develop into his own performer once he can make his own music.

@eiproll Vocals are more polished for Adam, but he is also limited in what sound he can create with his vocals. Adam is Great, but James can sing more range of songs (sound, vocals, how to change vocals to fit the song, etc). Maybe I'm Amazed, Uprising, Heavy metal, Will you still love me tomorrow. James can go from rough hard vocals (Heavy Metal) Haunting, echo vocals (Uprising), normal rock (Maybe I'm a amazed, Guitar gently weeps) to Softer clear vocals (will you still love me tomorrow)

@ross121670 when I listen to James. seems to try so hard to give those high notes and the high notes of adam he seems to do very easy and clean just listen to the high notes in born to be wild in the top 7 or crying that last the whole song was totally perfect and I like James from the beginning but their songs do not sound as clean as adam

@eiproll Yes, just like the Difference between Steve Perry (Journey) and Axl Rose (Guns & Roses) when I was growing up. Both bands seemed to sell Millions and Millions of Albums and have #1 songs. From your picture you look younger so you do not remember how Hard Rock vocals were done. Adam is really just ROCK (Journey, Reo Speedwagon, Queen, ect) vocals. James is HARD ROCK vocals like Skid Row, Guns & Roses, Ratt, Crue, Cinderella, Van Halen, DIO(listen to James do DIO's Rainbow in the dark)

@ross121670 yes I understand what you say. but what I'm saying is they both are very good but adam is more clean in high notes it shows professionalism James has to work harder that's all the same adam said as advice and james got mad also think there should be a little more humble and take criticism or advice from other artists because that is adam an artist will go far.. like james I hope only if work hard

@eiproll Adam is clearer James needs to work like U said. I am sure James is getting upset and confused. Exit Poll (USA today) said he had 25% of all votes, 2nd place 15%. The bashing started on ALL vocal octaves in his Range not just High Sometimes . Yet, besides the High octave (some did not like), yet besides that . I believe it changed because many loved the Harder Rock. He did not do any the last couple weeks this is the only thing that changed from a few weeks back on the show.
