  • my daughter age 14 makes movies using a Flip camera and her Mac. For Christmas I want to get her a green screen but am not sure what to get. I saw a program that had space ship back grounds, etc. The company said none of them are Mac compatible. Do you know of a fun one that doesn't cost a fortune that is Mac compatible? Thanks!

  • @ibelulu1

Well an actual green screen (the paper or cardboard itself) will be compatible with any computer. You just need a program on your Mac that will be able to use it. You can get some use out of it with the Photobooth program that comes with the computer-as I did in this video-or spend more money and get Final Cut Express or Pro which is a profession level movie editing software which will allow MANY more uses of your green screen.

So yes, a green screen will be compatible

  • Cool video x) could you put the background to be a gif?

  • @MidnightCookieOW

I've played around a bit and haven't seen it possible to use with a GIF so I would say no.

  • how did you do the part of the other guy were u changed only hes lips?

  • @dart2354

You have to go to a website and download Photobooth plugins, and then it will expand your photobooth capabilities with many more effects, including that one.

  • thanks u answered my questions,, love the vid!!!!!! excellent!!!

  • how you put the video as background?

  • @freddy2715

Just watch it again and pay more attention, I show you, all the info you need is there

  • thanks(

  • @Metal19921701

    welcome!

  • can it be done with windows?

  • @Metal19921701 Nope! Because you won't have the photobooth program. One great reason to buy a Mac :).

  • will you make a tutorial how to make one :p

  • @shamiss001

Maybe, haha that was a heck of a lot of work I'm not sure how I'd make a tutorial on it

  • how did you make your intro ??

  • @shamiss001

Hard work and patience :) It was all made using photobooth recordings, and put together with Imovie 6 HD

  • can you use a blue wall backround?

  • @Moggle1

Yes, a blue wall will work as a background. Just focus on making sure that there are no shadows behind you messing up the background the computer recognizes. Lighting is key, the background could be anything really.

  • Thanks!!!

  • How did you get that picture to talk with your lips?? and thanks sooo much:) also how do you add videos to backdrop?

  • @BalliantandOviedo

Ha ur welcome! To get videos to the backdrop have something u want to use on ur desktop. Then open photobooth and click on the 4th square, also known as the effects tab. Where it says "user backdrop" just click on the video thats on the desktop and drag it into any of the open user squares, and there you go.

The part where I move with that guys lips is a separate photobooth effects expansion pack you'll have to download. You can find effects by searching photobooth plugins
