ACTA is not a law or a bill. It holds no power by itself. It's a harmonization effort between countries prone to piracy, such as China. ACTA is a set of guidelines for legislation regarding piracy, and a country could sign it and change nothing if they wanted. There is nothing to fear from ACTA itself, but you should be watching your local government for legislation that steps too far out of bounds and oppose it. Many of the countries signing the act already have laws that meet its minimum reqs.

My fav Kreator album is 1990-Coma of Souls. The album is GREAT.
In 2012 Kreator will release something that i may not like(may be). If download the album i will delete it. Alright!
But if I buy it and the album is CRAP? What I should do? To eat it? In 2014, when Kreator release a new album, I will not buy it!
Normally, when the album is GOOD, I buy it. But if the album is BAD, I f*ck it ;)

although most european countrys have signed the bill the european union has to pass it for it to become law however they will not do it till early june and there not sure on signing it in the first place as it well (1)take a lot of effort(2)cuz many protets/riots and also as you said is very unlikely because of costs of keeping such large numbers behind bars.but still congratulations on making partner and big fan of the show,LOVE FROM IRELAND :)

nicenicenicenice..... im against ACTA... i dont want any changes or new laws, i watched the "what is acta" video on youtube and in my opinion thats completely bullshit... if i produced music, i would actually want people to see/donwload my songs via internet, doesnt matter if they download it for free... i guess they will destroy themselves with ACTA there are too many guys against it...
