no one kill me for saying this, but they sort of remind me of The Black Veil Brides, because this band seems to make music with an early 80's punk sound with hints of modern post-hardcore, as The Black Veil Brides make music similar to oldschool rock n' roll with a bit of post-hardcore thrown in... lol

If we wanna get technical, Raw Rock "died", so to speak, with No Sir. Raw Rock was the screamo/hardcore sound they started with. They have softened their sound over the years, but they;ve never been bad. Each album is a new sound, and they work.

fyi guys, Showbread has never seen itself as any kind of core. They are self proclaimed Raw Rock, based off of Nine Inch Nails, Flaming Lips, Nirvana, and even Aerosmith. Josh Dies says he's never listened to any bands like The Almost or Norma Jean or any bands like that.

And this album was written as an allegory of love. This specific song was for his then fiance who happens to be emetophobic.
