I'm a 18 year old black man, a virgin, never been arrested, never kicked out of school, never got high, never stole from or assaulted anybody, graduated high school, currently attending college and trying to get a job at a local hospital. My best friend of 42 years married such a woman. He is a TRUE gentle giant who was slow to anger and long suffering. I warned him not to sleep with unprotected 1980. he would not listen and guess what? She dropped a baby and landed a husband. The abuse lasted 12 years before he had enough and left after 2 kids.

He is now remarried to a wonderful women of God and he she treats Him right because she knows it is how a woman is supposed to treat a good man.

I work in the housing industry providing low income housing and the majority is that most women who have children out of wedlock are not making it. I am also a woman who had a child out of wedlock and earned a college degree...but the fact is most of my friends are not where I am, but did what I did. A visual of the 7 out of 10. Of course there are some of us who made it...we decided our own paths. But, there are so many more who don't. That is the purpose of the video.

If you're black and your talking like this im concerned for you. To go through life acting like ppl don't see color and everything is equal will be your demise. Yes everyone is born equal but we aren't all treated that way thus, if your black regardless of your religious belief blacks are your ppl and you'd be wise to remember it b/c trust the majority of white ppl whether they're religious or not will not let you for get it. I see color but its not significant to me. I am greatly concerned that everybody(both blacks and whites) is OBSESSED with race. It was definetely evident that race sadly played a significant role in many people's lives when I saw grown black men and women(twenty and thirty somethings) cry over a black man winnng the presidential election. l It is time that society due away with these social constructs that were put there to simply divide people.

It is not the acknowledgement of color that is the problem...it is the lack of respect ppl have for each others differences. If you want to walk down the street and not be labeled as black or white or hell idk purple you have that right just know that its not just about what you want...ppl are going to see you as a certain race regardless. Again there's nothing wrong with acknowledging that we as ppl are of different cultural back grounds,its about respecting those differences not denying them.

Hell, it's existed since the beginning of time...ppl might not have classified each other by race but they did by religion or region...classifications arent going anywhere.
