Because she's not an exceptional singer... She's good, but she's not great. She needs to learn how to transition between head and chest voice smoothly.

(and if anyone comments me back saying that I'm a sucky singer so I should shut up, news flash: that's why I'm never go to try for AI or pursue a career as a singer)

Unfortunately, if you have an Asian face (like myself) whether you're fresh off the boat or 4th generation "hyphened" American (completely American) it's really hard to make it to the American entertainment industry especially in singing and movies, etc.

It's sad but yeah, I guess that's just how the cookie crumbles.
