no, it's core works like an ekg, reading and analyzing brainwaves, but there is no way to know which thought caused a brainwave, in other words it simply can't read your thoughts!

during calibration you think of actions, the epoc will map the thought's brainwaves to game input, and when you think of that action in a game, the epoc will translate recognize the brainwave and pass on the mapped input to the game, absolutly no thought reading involved!

I expect at some point the technology to read thoughts from brain waves (or whatever else we find out about) will be developed. however this definitely can't do it

I saw this in discovery channel and i liked soooo much! I hope this tecnology will be applied on MMORPG games :D

as it is, you would be able to use it to activate your skills and things like that =]. But it would sure be cool to have your character's facial expressions be what yours is, lol, or to have it play some part in NPC interaction, or even have some monsters you need to kill by actually doing something in real life.

Maybe your version of flash? I had trouble at first too, but know it shows up in FF, IE, and Chrome.

Are you seeing the "CC" in the "up arrow" menu?

You may have to turn them on, by hovering over the "up arrow", and clicking on the CC button.

I tried to view this in FF as well as in IE but there was no captioning. I wonder why?
