When filming a rock band....or an orchestra for that matter, when the SOLO comes around, you are supposed to put the camera on that musician....because they are the featured performer at that moment. I am sure most people would agree...put the f$%^ing camera on HIM.

I love all this good shit about Randy, and he is indeed one of THE GREATEST guitar players ever and so is Dime, but they are not THE BEST. There's Alexi Laiho, Steve Vai (Yes, I consider him Metal) there's Paul Gilbert, and Slash (but Slash is SERIOUSLY over-rated) There are PLENTY of em. As with @GoldenDevil777 Jimmy Page, in my opinion and many others, Jimmy Page is WAY over-rated and shouldn't get too much credit. He is good, but not AMAZING. But Hendrix invented a unique way of playing and writing wich nobody had done before. A lot of musicians picked that up. And builded up from what Jimmy set the ,standard, (if there is any??) So He was a Pioneer in Rock , thats why so many Worlds Best Guitarists give Hendrix their credits. Not on ,technical, skills.
