hm i am afraid to overlock. i got an 6950 and when i click on overdrive is makes me have to accept some kinda agreement that the warranty wont stand for it. if i click accept will my warranty be gone even if overlocking isnt the cause of a failure? i havent done it yes and i am still kind of on the edge if i should or should not. and no my 6950 cant be flashed.

On crysis and metro 2033 it freezes after some time. can be 5 min to 2 hours before it freezes thou. gonna try going at 860 and see if its stable then. thou i do get your point. I have had my system for 1 month now and before this system i had one that couldnt even run minecraft... ^_^

@UzumakiNarutoKun96 If you decide to overclock(though not necessary) be sure to have thermal paste and over clock your fan speed to prevent heating and a cool enviorment because the card is going to get out fast.Also keep your temperature under 60 degrees it goes way beyond that your system is going to melt

@UzumakiNarutoKun96 Well i tested at what degrees does it burn up with a 6950 and I payed a terrible price.i over clocked it once to max settings and my graphic card was literally burnt and nearly caused a fire.Damage my entire computer system.The last i saw the clock the degrees over 80 degrees could be more than that.I bet the graphic card was hot as 100 degrees by the time it was burned.But i got new computer.But dont stack graphic cards you get less performance than 1 graphic card.

@MrRobocop12 No crossfiring 2 6950 can be 50 to 100% better performance and for the games that has trouble with cf i will just turn of the cf to play. sure the heat will increase with 2 but ofc i am clocking em to default and the temp wont reach over atleast 70. also did u flash the 6950 too? cuz my max clock on my 6950 with its original bios is 950 while the default core clock is set at 800. At 900 its 60 degrees ingame so hard to believe it will reach 80 at 950..

@UzumakiNarutoKun96 I disable the fan.It was also over 105 degrees during that day in nyc.I disable my air conditioner and I pretty f much flash and tested the cards limit to the extreme.On top of that i had custom rigged screen of 3200 by 1200 (the highest resolution ,(My screen huge like really really huge) it like 3 30 in to one computer running crysis 2, and pretty much multitasking and running huge applications.It was just put alot strain even with a 6950

Also cf 6950 no oc should be able to max crysis 2 on it with 60 fps as cf 6950 crysis 2 would get my 1920x1080 screen up to 100 and ur screen is then + one third oh and also there shouldnt be much fps diff anyway cuz of of the 2gb+2gb on the gpu.
