DT is so far beyond any other melodic death band. (Well maybe Insomnium can reach.)
I'm not saying DT is necesarilly better but untouchable by emo kids and little 13 year olds.

You obviously don't know what you're talking about. Dark Tranquility was one of the pioneers of the Gothenburg style in Sweden. You can't call them fake metal, it's damn near impossible to justify that. I don't like DBZ anymore but I do feel compelled to defend ol' DT.
