I will admit 2 things, I am a die hard 9er fan till the day that I die. Also that the Cowboys were a dominate team in the 90's. The D was the most underated bunch ever. They get no credit for anything. Everyone always give credit to the Ravens D, and the 85 Bears team, but the Cowboys D was fast athletic and outstanding. Give credit to where Credit is due, cause they can plug anyone in there and be great still. Except for Larry Brown because he still sucks.

hey carakara who i exactly is ur team. it must be an nfc east team since u spend so much time hatin on the boys. and if u knew anything about the cowboys u would know that what made them that great was the fact that they had the tripletts (Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin) admittedly the o-line was by far one of the best but you need skill players to play behind that line. and the defense was very very good lets not forget that either.

He was destined to be great. I ain't no colts fan either, I just speak the truth. When teams and players are overrated, I say so, when they are underrated, I say so. Like my argument with the 90's cowgirls, it was all about their O-line, one of the greatest ever assembled.

The( O-Line), a (pure pocket passer) that was not only accurate, but knew how to run a game and lead a team... a (RB) who was tough as nails and made it happen year after year.. a (WR) who was as "go-to" as there ever was and had a rapore with his QB like no other.. and a (TE) who would kill defenses when they thought they had the RB and WR in check.

The early 90's Cowboys were a hell of a lot more than an O-Line.

The O-line made all of the above possible. Without them, Aikman wouldn't have been a pure pocket passer (look at his stats post 96 seaons), Irvin wouldn't have gotten time to get open, Smith-- don't get me started on how he's the most overrated RB in league history. TE, I'll agree with you. He bailed out Aikman plenty. But, fact still remains, as good as they were, it was all made possible by the O-line. Just like the Broncos of 97-98.

The O-line was a great asset and it did make all of the above possible. But not just anyone would have thrived with that same Off line as these guys did. These skill players were great. Im of your opinion that Emmitt is overrated, however not as much as you say. He made things happen plenty of times on his own. He made key plays countless times.Tony dorsett will always be the greatest RB in Cowboys history (NFL history in my opinion).. ironically, I think Dorsett is the most UNDERrated ever.

TD took it to the house at any point on the field. None of the guys you mentioned had close to Dorsett's speed.

Campbell was just a bulldozer. Tomlinson is quick and shifty. Both of those qualities are found a dime a dozen.

Now Sayers was special. So was Sanders, Brown was a pioneer and so was Walter. But as far as pure skill - ( Dorsett,Sayers,Sanders) we'll never C those types again
