@stuntmanmike37 Well, I started out on BUFFs, but the farce kicked me from SAC to MAC. Wound up being a crew chief (AFSC 426Z2) on a new C-141 in 1964. Yep, I am gettin old. Don't let your blue suit get shiny.

Hey, did anyone else see all of those "inop" steam gauges? N-2 compressor gauges; fuel flow gauges, etc. I guess the crew thought if all of the engines were "turning and burning" that they could blast off - nawwww!!!

The Pennsylvania Air National Guard has a million and one KC-135's based out of Pittsburgh they are the sh*t i see them fly over where i am every day over 3 times a day sometimes these aricraft are awsome

I worked on these jets in Kadena. Corrosion was a constant battle, but I feel that was because of the location of the base, rather than the 135. Still, was a fun airframe to work on.
