@master6339 You would be correct in that my comment was based off of FFVII however I do agree with you in that it was overrated. My top favorites are the old school bird-eye views for NES and SNES with FFIV probably being my favorite in which it was a constant battle between a superior plot and a superior musical score. However, I think all of the series have had great music scores. Aerith's theme may be the most heart-wrenching song Uematsu ever wrote.

@master6339 Ah, the haunting melody of Terra's theme. If you enjoy that theme as much as I do there is a vocal version of it in Japanese called, 'Toki no Hourousha.' Look into it. It will inspire you to either write something amazing or go on a quest. :)

Good music, very nice arrangement. FF music definitely is a bit more difficult than other music and the quartet did quite well. It was a bit slide-y but still very enjoyable.

Wow! I love the arrangement on these songs! I think my favorites were Aria de Mezzo Carrattere and the FFIX intro. There were some intonation issues with the first violin, but the vibrato was so nice it made up for it :P
