  • Maybe it was just me but I had this tonight and I actuLly got a huge cola taste with tons of spice! I found that when I left the 6 pack out for an hour it got better

  • @mattyslicks Ive got a can of this years batch so ill have to let it warm up a bit before I drink it to see how it differs.

  • You are the best beer conoseoeuir ever!!!!

  • @elchalewa Thanks man I appreciate that!

  • Just got this beer. Somehow to me the aroma is amazing but the taste is lacking. It is way too bitter that feels too much toasted which I believe it suffers from the actual fresh spice taste that some other seasonal beers have.

  • @tactical321 Yeah I just picked up a can of the new batch of this one. GOnna give it a try again. I wasnt a big fan of it the first time around

  • They always make really cool cans. That's so crazy you get a hold of these beers. I think this brewery does a really good job, even the ones they release to try out with their drinkers. It's a hit or miss, but when they hit, it's spot on. I dig their IPA.

  • Tasty's IPA is my favorite from 21st Amendment... In my oppinion its a nice balance between a sesh beer and a study beer, with more of a lean towards sesh. great review!

  • @HDiGITTY yah i love their ipa. im finally able to get it pretty easily in my area now

  • I guess I have never had any cause to call a beer sexy looking. It was a good looking beer but I'm not so sure about sexy. I don't believe this one is available in New Hampshire.

  • @geoffolehane haha sometimes the look of a beer is just really kind deep and inviting looking. this was one of those beers that looked sexy in that way

  • Great review as always. I somewhat agree with hopping lion. I say somewhat because if I am drinking a IPA or stout from the can I have no problem. But when we get into drinking pilsners as well as other light beers from the can, I tend to not enjoy them as much as the same beers in the bottle. I feel like I can taste the can.

  • @rlynge its really hit and miss with me. Some beers i feel like i can taste can others i have never had an issue with. in theory you should never be able to taste can flavor based on the coating they use but every once in a while its there

  • i almost bought this today to try

  • @timmythorpe I would pass on it. Seems like some cans are sou while others arent

  • Call me crazy, but I just don't like canned beer. When I had this I could get over the sour notes more than I could deal with the can issue. It may be my imagination but the only drinkable can micro I have had has been Brew Free Or Die IPA, and by the end of the 12 I could start to taste metal. Great Review though CHEERS!

  • @hoppinglion01 If you can get Surly beer they will change your mind! Their year round ipa Furious is one of the best IPA's in the world and its canned. Cheers

  • @BeerGeekNation I'll have to look for it, Thanks and cheer...

  • +100 on this one. I didn't know what to expect from it. Definately drinkable, but I didn't care for it and I probably won't be getting any more of it. It reminds me of a pumpkin beer without the pumpkin to me. Just weird as you said. This is the first 21A beer that I just haven't enjoyed that much. Keep up the good work Chris. I really enjoy your reviews.

  • @FatboyHD4life Thanks man I really appreciate it! THis just had a weird sour taste to it that didnt blend well with the beer at all.

  • these beers always seem to have more sizzle and less steak,ya know?

  • Bummer about the sourness which I doubt was intended with such a beer. I've still yet to try anything from 21st for some reason.

  • Haha I saw the title and thought the vid would be a political talk about prohibition!

  • @BookofNick HAHAH it does kind of look that way!! SOrry!

  • Damn. Now I want to start all my vids with "Good evening, friends."

Sourness? Do you think they're using lactobacillus or brett in this one? Maybe an issue on the canning line? Weird.

  • @TheEndosymbiosis I think it was unintentional. If they were using a souring technique im sure that would have been mentioned somewhere in the literature they sent with the beer. I think something went awry on this one
