  • One question i just watched BSG season 3 when do i watch this film, but not to get the spoilers in the series ?

  • I did not understand why Boomer made all those bad choices until i watched this movie.

  • Am I really the only one here who saw this & thought it was a waste of time?? Its just old footage from the 4 series stitched together with a few new bits thrown in.. no where near as classy or even interesting as the the proper series.

  • One of the most badass, unique, and creative TV-series ever. BUT I FREAKING HATED THE ENDING. IT WAS SOOOOOO LAMEEE!!!

  • this was a good sci fi show but i had problems with it becuase there was too much emphasis placed on sex and military protocal which got in the way of the story. i wanted them to focus on the cylons and their relations to the characters on the show.

  • OH MY GOD CAN SOMEONE PLEASE STOP ALL THESE SPAM COMMENTS FOR stfu.co.cc/whogivesacrap.

  • @Mehtaphorical working on it, they are prolific.

  • is it neccesary to watch the show before watching this? i know its a prequel but i just heard that with stuff like twin peaks: fire walk with me it was needed to watch the show first even though it was a prequel

  • This film is not good! I loved the tension build up in the series and the depth of characters with their own stories and flaws. This film isn't much more than parts from the series linked to some new footage of the Cylon interaction. If the plan was to get me pay 9 euro for this and make me feel like a complete idiot: it worked! Lucky for me that Tricia Helfer and Grace Park are still very hot and come in multiples.

  • @NKismynextgoal The whole point of the movie is linking parts, choices, we have not yet seen. This movie does that extremely well considering that the series is 4 seasons long, with a lot of additional movie scenes. I didn't understand the motives to attack the human colonies yet, but now I do because of this. This film is horrible without the series, but if you did see the series, it kicks ass.

  • Not enough leoben or baltar for me. Otherwise it was great.

  • I love it when Cavil says to "Shelly Godfrey" "Are you attracted to this human?" I laughed. Loved this movie. Love the cylons.

  • Bag the resistance

  • I heard a lot's of bad thing about the movie but today i saw the movie and i have to say I LOVE IT. And i cant understand why so many people hate this movie, Only because 50 min of the 111 minutes are scenes from previous seasons is that it? I mean comeone it love the way they made this scenes from the miniserie's,season 1 and season 2 they cut a scene and put in in the movie only they chainge something but the way how i love it, great job and great acting and special effects it was great.

  • so dies the plan take place in a flashback within the series? or is it before the series begins?

i plan on watching all the prequels because since (spoiler dont read if you havent watched the series!) the series begins with galactica on the run from the cylons i want to watch all the prequel stuff. already watched the caprica series. and other movies also?

  • @plasm2 it's the BSG story told from the cylon point of view, it happens before and during the events of BSG

  • ‎'I have something else for you to wear... They call this a suicide vest, but, I think that under sells all the homicide that goes with it, don't you?'

  • Is it wrong that I find this thing funny?

  • Best sci-fi show, just finished the 4th season. I got right into it as it the plot developed and each season ended so well.

Looking forward to 'Blood and Chrome', the new series about the first cylon war coming.

  • i geuss watching this before watching all four seasons would be a mistake because then i will know who the remaining 5 cylons are and what is razor is it just the story of pegisus before they found the fleet some one please help me

  • @lethalfacey Watch The Plan after seeing the whole series. You can watch Razor after season 3. It involves some backstory about Pegasus and its past but also new characters and ideas are developed. I think, if you like BSG, that seeing every material is not a waste of time because even in the stand-alone that is Razor, you can learn new things about the whole show. (I had troubles understanding your question, please pay attention when you write or no one will be able to answer you :/)

  • @WorldTributes: puke... LoL..

  • which episode is this one... ??? is it separate from the main series ... or this is after episode 4..

  • @auminhaj It's a separate movie that reveals the whole of the cylon plan as they created it. Kind of like having a peek into the mind of the enemy before the series begins. And...of course Cavil's just a badass as always

  • @WorldTributes just watch more, if you've only seen the pilot. if u still dont like it, then so be it

  • @yesboss2000 Since there is nothing about it that resembles the original and other people have been saying the same about the pilot and episodes theres not much point in bothering with it. I dont understand what people see in this series but also a lot of them are not familiar with the original series either. I hate it when they just use the name to capitalise on a franchise.

  • You would like to meet Asian bride lushfmlk.info

  • They REBELED, They EVLOLVED, They LOOK AND FEEL HUMAIN !!! Some are programmed to think they ARE Humain. There are MANY copies and they have an PLAN... Well... fellows... Let's get this genocide started !!! Best series end movie I've ever seen !!! "We've had our foot on the throat of Humanity and we failed to step-down hard enought !"

  • is this a whole new movie or just a bunch of old episodes put together?

  • @arvideriksson

It's new (well not *new* since its out for a long time, but it's all new footage), basically showing the miniseries and season one from the Cylon's point of view.

    'Tis very good :D

  • hello, i have a question. Do I have to watch BSG the series first before i watch BSG The Plan or BSG The Razor?

    Thanks you!

  • @substitute91 I suggest watching everything in the order released: 1. BSG Miniseries: Night 1/Night 2 (03/04) (This led to the show being aired). 2. Season one and two 3.BSG: The Resistance 4. Season Three. 5. BSG Razor Flashbacks 6. Season 4 until episode eleven 7. Finish season Four. 8. BSG; The Plan .... battlestarwiki is an excellent site. Apparently there's another webseries int the works: Blood and Chrome. Anyway, it'll be the best show you've ever seen. Enjoy!

  • @comicbookstoreguy thank you so very much. i appreciate that a lot. i', a new BSG fan..so, you can tell, i have a lot to catch up here. I just finished watching the miniseries, its incredibly awesome. d best sci-fi in my opinion, and 2nd choice go to Fringe. thanks a lot. i'll check on the websites.

    cheers!

  • @substitute91 Sorry, 7 should be: BSG The Face of the Enemy, and continued.

  • "We had our foot on the throat of humanity and we failed to step down hard enough..."

Damn...that was one hell of a line.

  • @oldetownecoffee1 you should hear his end speeche in the plan!

  • Yeh i l love BSG but i really didn't like The Plan, it didnt feel like battlestar galactica, and it was just dull. A sad way to end my BSG watching experience.

  • admitted it, john cavil is baddass

  • WOOOP!! Watching it all again and then I'ma watch this FINALLY!!! XD Love seeing all the tiny little pieces that go unnoticed the first time around! =D

  • yeah baby

  • hope this is good im watching it on wednesday, but i hear that a lot of it is clips we have already seen?

  • This is underrated! Stargate is overrated!

  • @herogna You come and say that in estonia, and see what will happen, i give you a hint - You will leave with broken bones, and with no teeth

  • @Raunoland A geek who loves SG-1 threat's me over the internet...

  • @Raunoland Yeah, hardly anyone who stays long enough in Estonia keeps all their teeth...must be the fact that it's a s***hole...

  • Not seen the plan yet but BSG (new one!) is f**king excellent.Best thing on TV in yrs. Its funny to think that a scifi show dealt with things more realistically than a so - called reality show. People say the show was too dark but it was just real. How anyone can say the original was better is beyond me, its just so camp. I didnt like it when I was ten. Eddie olmos did a great job directing a couple of episodes but 33 and those by sergio mimica gezzan rock so does 'SCAR' nuf sed

  • Totally agree with what you said, F**k sake wake up people!! who said the original was better

  • reality shows aren't real at all.. talented entertainers tend to read scripts, do plays and attend schools for their craft. folks that do reality shows simply wait in a line all day, get judged by has been hacks too afraid to find a real job and have a mass marketed shelf life of 15 minutes that basically hinge on a freakin' text message.

  • @nicsandee123 what its the name of the new movie of batle star galactica

  • @nicsandee123 you should watch it, it has all of the bsg goodness plus gratuitous boobage.

  • this movie was a mindfrak after watching the fullseries then watching the cylon side.

  • Wait, was this part of two episodes?

  • SG-1 Lost it's great humor when RDA left.O'Neill brought all the fun to SG-1 Cameron was never as good a character in my opinion

  • Hmm, thinking about it, Cylon 7, Daniel, Daniel Graystone from Caprica...

Maybe there are more revelations to come, so far I have only seen the first half hour of the Pilot, but already there's tons of references to BSG, the two shows are definitely closely related.

  • The film served as further development of key characters, e.g. Cavil.. his motivations for the holocaust, etc. etc... I really liked it, Olmos did good...

  • i recon daniel was kara's father, the biggest thing that annoyed me was where did that music come from. what was it's purpose.

  • @tnt2006films

No. You can only suppose that Daniel was Kara's father. There is no cannon material for that. The music has been written by Samuel Anders on original Earth. It was a love song. And if you convert the notes to numbers for the FTL drive, it happens to be the coordinates of our actual Earth. Still there is no cannon explanation for that. Blame Olmos

  • Yeah, im a major Battlestar fan...however cock shots and child killing does not make E. Almos a heavy director ok. Plus its alot of old footage mixed in which I did not appreciate for my 25 bucks. Sorry friends but I had all my hopes on the Plan. Dean Stockwell is a mastermind actor and he worked with what he had...2 out of ten..wait..the opening cylon attack was masterful. gee dont know what to say.

  • wait, I have to see cock in this? barf

  • you paid 25 bucks to see this? geese....BS galactica in caprica is now a soap opera far as i see it ...just with a SciFi twist on it...

  • this better be good i've been a fan of this show since the beginning ........better not be love making scenes every now and then and then a strage talking scene or whatever......wanna see some action loool want SCIFI not SCyFy!

  • i agree with you. it was an absolutely pointless episode

  • yeah it was....

  • But dont get my wrong. I liked BSG. But what's the use of this episode to repeat everything over again? All right, some questions have been answered, like who Six was talking to on Caprica. The plan was clear for everybody. They didnt need to make another episode with A LOT of recycled material. That was totally pointless.

  • I was just happy they expanded on BSG and tied up the loose ends they left behind. The recycled material was necessary to show where in the story an untold event was happening. But the recycled material would have pissed me off a lot less if they didn't also alter it from its original form. Don't know if anyone else noticed, but when Baltar gets taken from his lab the whole scene has completely different audio from way back when. and that wasn't the only scene like that. just annoying....

  • Still there are open questions. At the beginning of the escape of the fleet, why did the Cylons appear every 33 minutes? Who is Number Eight Daniel? Was it Starbuck's father? Why did Starbuck have visions like cylons? Was she half cylon maybe? Why did Cavil box Daniel? A lot of open questions... and still unanswered by this stupid episode. Olmos should stop playing director and go to Miami to play the cop.

  • lol I agree.....i think it'll die out like SG-1 did where they go to super cheesy episodes and things like the 200th episode of Stargate one of the WORST episodes of SG-1 in all of stargate in my opinion.

  • @Bearkiller777

Yes. SG-1 faded away. They meant the 200th episode to be funny but it was pathetic. Stargate just faded away. The last episodes of the show havent even been broadcasted on TV in my country because of the lack of audience.

  • yea I'm not too surprised about that...oh well lol

  • Because you aren't worth them paying to air the show. :)

  • @pat1981lux where you live? in Luxembourg?

  • @Raunoland Yes.

  • I guess it took them 33 minutes to track the jump co-ordinates? Cavil corrupted Daniel's DNA (he didn't box him) because he was jealous of the attention that Ellen gave him. It's a play on the Cain and Abel story from the bible. The Thrace cylon/angel thing is never resolved, people will be discussing it for years, worked for Blade Runner, people are still arguing today as to if Deckard was a replicant or not.

Olmos did OK, he pushed for this film to be made because he is passionate about BSG.

  • 1.coordinates

2.skinjob created by the final five

    3.unlikely.

    4and5.because she is ''angel''

    6.he was jealous

  • PUEDES VER LA PELI EN -> CINE15

  • Does anyone think Olmos shouldn't be allowed to direct?

  • Yes.A bunch of retards like you.

  • Ok so is "the Plan" a new series or a movie?

  • @tuner03 nope it is a stand alone 2 hour movie from the cylon point of view.

  • hgjhygkj

  • 1.07

  • BEST FRAKING SCI FI SERIES OF ALL TIME !

  • Frak ya it is.

  • Frak Yea !

  • Amen brother!

  • You are so right !!! Hey , lets make a Re-Make of Star Wars while were at it too.

  • not even half way through strugling to keep my eyes opened what a snoozer caprica was way better

  • I've watched the DVD yesterday. It's good but only watch it after you viewed the entire series. Otherwise it will only get you confused.

One truly bizarre thing I've noticed is during the Cylon attack of the colonies (8th minute) we are shown a fleet of basestars above the middle-east... We can clearly make out Iran, Saudi Arabia, the Persian Gulf, Turkey and part of central asia with a few huge urban centers in present day desertic area.

Was that a coded message ?

  • You're right. I just checked it. I never would have noticed if, and I had to check against a map to be sure (Im not the best at mid east geography).

I don't know why they would do that. I mean, if they were pressed for time or just wanted to be lazy and use earth topography to get the shot done fast, I would think it would make sense to at least mirror, or flip it. Then it would be harder to notice.

Maybe subconsciously they wanted to impress the idea of "all this has happened before"?

    weird

  • At least it explains why they would Jump every 33 minutes - its been driving me crazy since I saw the first season!!!

  • Superb! Just watched it - ti made me realize just how much I miss this show.

  • I liked it. I would've liked to have seen a little more of the initial attack scene but it was cool as hell.

  • better than nothing, like a monstro ad. project some kind of tiz

  • I'm a huge fan of BSG. I enjoyed this movie. Sure I could have done without the re-hashed bits, but the focus of the new story items regarding Anders, Cavil & Simon was a welcome change for me. I would have liked to see James Callis in the movie & there was nowhere near enough Michael Hogan - but you can see the passion that Eddie has for this series in the extra features - the man loves this role & this show. I would still love to see more of this series.

  • im a huge fan also! but im not american! despite all of that i watched every episode of theseries + razor + the plan!!!!! i hear that universal is planning to make a movie in cinema is that true my friend? that would be just awesome!

  • Universal is in fact making a movie.

From what I've read so far - it has nothing to do with this amazing show, instead they are reverting back to the original (Cheese)story from the late 70's. I'm curious to see who they cast.

  • You can start hating the BSG movie heading to theaters. What Universal isn't saying to much is that the BSG that they're making is based on the 1979-1980's version. It's not based on the 2004 reboot the only thing they are saying alot is that Bryan Singer is directing it. I don't who's directing it I thought the older version sucked I'm not going to see it.

  • @greyfox129 1979-1980's version. rocks!! retro sci fi rules!!

  • @JAYROX1969 It may have rocked but that was back in the day. Majority of the BSG fans now are from the new BSG. And when we all hear that the movie is based on the old version it guarantees that the movie will fail cause the new fans don't care for the old ones. But It will attract the old fans but don't expect it to make allot of money.

  • @thecreationofunivers yes they will make a movie but it will be based on glen larson's original BSG, not the reimagined

  • yeah i know my friend! i hope that it wont be disappointing! tnx

  • if they take the original intro who was great, in my opinion better than the reimagined one, and the original plain evil cylons without any emotions except destroying the humans, it will be hard to make it disappointing, i love "by your command" :-D

  • well as a huge battlestar galactica fan i hope so! what do u mean "by your command?" my friend?

  • that's what the original cylons said when they received an order, i love that :-D

  • looooooool! and how do u know my friend? did u watch the oroiginal series???? thats too old! i think that u would agree with me when i say that battlestar galactica is the best series ever! and u know the new series viruality of the same ronald d moore ?? it will be aired soon i think!

  • yes i saw the original first. when i was young and back a few years ago, just before the first season of the reimagined. the original is almost unwatchable today, always the same recycled space battles. but the villains and the starships of the original were great. and the opening theme was far superior to the new one. do you mean battlestar galactica - the plan?

  • no my friend i mean a total new series named "virtuality" the creator of this series is the same ronald d moore the producer of BSG! its about some astronauts that will explore the solar system and they are the only hope of humanity because earth is collapsing due to climate change! i saw the pilot in the summer it was amazing! its available on internet! but the first episode will be aired this month i think!

  • @thecreationofunivers igrew up with the original series too!

  • This movie was very terrible, any BSG episode was 20 times better than this.

They Got totally cheap on this !!

I just hope they were focusing there efforts on Caprica...

  • It was alright, though not worth $20 of hard earned cash. Maybe $20 you found on the street... The initial attack scenes were really good, but I wished they went furthur than early-2nd season with it. The plan changed again after that.

  • Yes but after the second season and into the third you did hear the Cylons side of the story. This was basically the Cylons side of everything up until that point.

  • dumb movie, no fun at all.

  • Mother fucker dont fucking spoil everything by telling the story line in places like this. Its either ur clueless o u did this on purpose to fuck things up for the rest f us.

  • your a badass!

  • i loved it .

  • I've seen it and quite enjoyed it.

  • I v seen it and i also enjoyed it

  • frack is still better than saying frick... its atleast good for those dumb people who have got habbit of saying frick.. all the time...

  • This movie isn't that special. A few new scenes combined with flashes from the series...

  • Wat a lod of crap!

  • It's messed up what Cavil did to that little kid.

  • All talk

  • The cylon homeworld was 1 jump from earth.

The raptor watching the cylon homeworld saw 4 baseships I believe during its surveillance. And those baseships are still "out there" at the ending. Assuming they are the only baseships left (big stretch), it's pretty improbable humanity didn't get hunted down within 100 years or so. Also let's assume there are some angry Cavils, Leobins etc on each of those baseships.

Despite that, I did enjoy saying goodbye to some characters that I grew to like.

  • ya but on other hand Cavil is afraid to die and there is no resorection ship anymore and 1 base ship with free minded cylones I would more think Cavil and his Ship hide somewhere and live alone then risk facing Humans when he can die or facing free minded Centurions which more or less would attack him since they enslaved them not humans / cylones on earth since they gave them freedom and they respect them and that freedom what they earned.

  • Jesus Disxx learn some fraking grammer.

  • Grammar? This...is...YOUTUBE! :P

  • first off, the cylon homeworld was a planet: earth... the original earth. The crab base was simply cabal's headquarters.

Second: as far as the finale goes, it was exactly what they said it would be. The characters and the political/spiritual message of the show were the focus of the producers. They spent 2 hours wrapping up their philosophy about where our society is going, instead of 2 hours trying to make everything scientifically perfect for a microscope.

  • Personally I'm in the middle. I never liked the ending of battlestar galactica but it was very well done. Better than any ending I could make. There were things that annoyed me but the acting and cinematrophy more than made up for it. Superb to last second.

  • But I can't stand;

--> The Cylon Homeworld being a giant space base crap instead of a planet,

--> The Colony Battle with no basestars,

with ridiciluous numbers (hundreds) of raiders (should be thousands if not TENS of thousands !! it is their home for God's sake !!)

-> And Kara's being the guide to the final survival of human race, instead of "The Herald of Apocalypse" as all the hybrids said.

  • Actually, Kara did lead humanity to its end. The surviving race is a hybrid, decendents of Hera.

  • Kara lead Cylons and Humans to their end. As once they made Earth 2.0 they did not continue as independent species but interbred thus the cylon and human races died and a new race was born.

  • There were Hundreds of Basestars inside the homeworld. I'm guessing they couldn't get them out in time.

  • guess you forgot part of network in Battlestars which was made so they would have been blind to cylon attack only there was no network in Galactica and Pegasus one wasn't ginished thats why those 2 battlestars survived. rest of them were completely blind to cylon attack.. as you see in movie begining they think those are meteorids not cylons.

  • filmfan28 is right the ending was EPIC. something really i didnt expect. a classic moment in tv history.. i heard caprica was the plot for a new series.. so going deep some info on that hope its true.

  • they botched the ending of an amazing series, and now they are putting out this clip show to make an extra buck

  • You are retarded. BSG had one of the most epic finales I have ever seen. As for The Plan, There is a ton of new footage. They're not going to stick tons of new stuff in a trailer. You are retarded.

  • I don't think this will be good at all. It comes off as a huge after thought.

The acting here just seems so scripted. I LOVE the SERIES but everything sounds so dull HERE. "Here put this on" then he walks down and blows himself up? I can live without actually seeing him strap the vest on..come on guys they just wasted all that time, i saw Litmus

I was expecting A LOT of more back story not just the moment before those scenes. doesnt seem like its going in that direction with just the 2 hours

  • 2 hours just doesnt seem like it would be enough time to tell this story well....

hope this doesnt end up like the finale.

  • WTF do you mean the finale was amazing?

  • it was kind of a cop-out. lots of things were left unanswered and it felt rushed. all they had to offer was 'god' did it all. another gr8 series with a luke-warm finale. i just hope this doesnt end up the same way. im hoping for the best, but planning for the worst.

  • oh come on, from the very beggining they alluded to the whole 'god' did it idea.

giaus was chosen to lead humanity to its end, by saving the child that was the first of 'god's new generation.

  • i do realize this falls into the original story of BSG in which our myths turning out to be true in some fashion, but i guess it was the way it was revealed.. that just seemed 'off'. i think it was probably the pacing and the amount time/story covered in such a short time.

  • Cool, nice to see the Cylon perspective of how fraked up the world is. It was a good ending to the series - things all wrapped up now we open a new bag of worms :)

  • Looks frakking awesome!! Hopefully it will be good, not the dredge of season four.

  • It's too bad Battlestar Pacifica never got made into a mini-series, it would of taken the whole Battlestar Galactica in a whole different Universe.

  • Holy frak that looks amazing! can't wait to see it :P

  • WOW! Definitely going to watch!

  • Thank Gods , im gonna get an explination for that Six who almost gave up Baltar during his tests!
