Jones really understood the spirit of Haydn, which is so unlike the spirits of Mozart and Beethoven; this performance is musically wonderful and marvelously played, and I love Jones's repeat of the exposition.

Thank you so much, David, for another winner from Jones. He brings out the buocolic vitality and the delightful orchestral details of this movement more than all other conductors I have heard in this work.
