  • what a movie! watched it a couple of nights ago and cant stop thinking about it.

  • Great!

  • i cant bealive i never seen this movie.i was getting this movie confused with steel magnolias. plus the movie cover dint catch my attention. shame on me.

  • This is my favorite role for Tom Cruise...he was brilliant! I don't think this movie compares to Crash at all...that dealt with different themes of the human experience.

  • good film

  • and the book says.....

  • Paul Thomas Anderson has also directed the Adam Sandler movie "Punch-Drunk Love", and The Oscar-Winning Masterpiece "There Will Be Blood", with the brilliant Daniel Day-Lewis, in an extraordinary performance, he won an oscar for his amazing performance in the film, and he was right to win!

I also believe that P.T. Anderson also directed "Capote" with Phill Hoffman!

  • @alnuggy Dude you have some good taste....but p.t didnt direct capote although he loves hoffman :)

  • My favorite movie ever. Few films come close to the emotional impact oozing from every frame of this masterpiece.

  • no hay otra igual! INCREIBLE en cada segundo

  • im about to see it right now. hope i like it!

  • Why are you people comparing Crash? Its a completely different movie. Yes it uses the plot devise of weaving different storylines together but so have many other films. Stop comparing. Both films have their own merit. Both are good in their own right.

  • this movie was similar to a 1993 movie about the lives of 20 people called Short Cuts. But was really very good.

  • Without doubt (at least imo) Anderson is one of the greatest living film directors...he is able to get stunning performances out of his circle of actors. He also manages to weave multiple story threads throughout a movie that are then sublimely drawn together towards the conclusion and this movie is a great example of that. Few are able to match his fusion of sound, image and performance.

I thought that John C Reilly was outstanding, but then again I think that most of the performances were.

  • My favorite movie of all time!!!!

there has not been any other film that ive seen that left me with the same emotional attachment and got my heart to beat hard with anticipation and excitement than Magnolia

  • why is it the good movies are the ones so hard to hear about, iv never heard of this and it looks better than the hollywood shit in the cinema every week, good movies are hard to find, cus the coperations are intent on shovelling crap to the masses for profit

  • because this movie is 10 years old? it was a fairly big deal 10 years ago.

  • @2warNINg

i agree. i've seen dark knight and inglorious basterds in the past two years. the irony...i work at a movie theatre going on 15 years now blagh. but id rather see the quality movies now a days. lol i wont even watch the latest crap for free lmao

  • Amazing film by P.T... does anyone no the music at about 1.43 ~ to the end?

    cheers x

  • fuckin awsome movie

    crash sucks

  • what u mean with crash sucks!?

  • what u mean with:

what u mean with crash sucks!?

    I mean: crash sucks

I´m talking about this movie because there were a lot of discussions about which movies the better one.

I think magnolia is 10 000 times better than crash.

    (sry for my bad english)

  • Oh how i wish John C. Reilly was still doing this type of work. I like his comedy but this is what he should be doing.

  • @naturegirlygirl Who knows, maybe P.T. Anderson will create another serious role for him.

  • @naturegirlygirl I think he could do more drama based comedy, or something with a more grounded character then he usualy plays - there's where he really shines!

  • PTA is tremendous! crash sucks!

  • You so damn right , crash is one of the biggest shit i saw till today . it shows that the oscars doestn't mean anything , look this one ( Magnolia ) and Robert Altman's Short Cuts , they didn't won anything , and that's CINEMA ! I finaly find someone who don't like crash ! Greatings

  • i like'em both . But Magnolia is one of my 5 favorite movies and Crash probably isnt in my top 100 :)

The story , the acting , the soundtrack in Magnolia are amazing !

  • @WorleyClarence CRASH was the worst film ever.....so utterly NOT nuanced....it cant hold a candle to PTA or ALTMAN.....Magnolia is art

  • My Favorite movie of All Time

  • I wish they would release all of PTA movies on blueray. I have TWBB & need this. :)

  • truly amazng movie

pt andersn is an amazing filmmaker

  • Anyone else hate the movie Crash (2004)?

    ...yeah me too.

Truely amazing trailer by the way.

  • My hatred for "Crash" is unbounded. It was a well-photographed but otherwise empty hack job, with an "After-School Special" script that could have been written by a marginally talented 9th grader looking to tackle an "important" topic. That film was a crime against its talented cast, and I think it did a disservice to the real issue of racism. In other words, right on: "Crash" sucked.

  • I no crash is utterly Pretentious. Matt Dillon actually gave a stand up performance. However the movie sank to the ground besides that. Actually to the bottom of the fucking ocean. I mean look at this trailer. This alone, besides being probably the greatest trailer ever made, breaks through more bounds that Crash has.

  • I totally agree.

  • Woow, haven't seen the movie but this trailer makes me want to.

  • In addition to being the best movie ever, this is the best TRAILER ever! I swear, it nails it all, and gives nothing away. Props to editor who made it.

  • Thank PTA, it was apparently his idea.

  • Best movie. EVER.
