People don't leave Africa because they hate it. They leave it because there are less opportunities there then here in America. That's immigration 101 for you. @TheMimibella aren't doing so hot right now. I'll tell you something else a lot of the problems (not all) that plague Nigeria and Africa in general were caused by Europeans long ago. Why on earth would you take a bunch of different ethnic and religious groups smash them together, force them to work for you, treat one group better than the other, and run their agriculture into the ground, then suddenly abandon everything and leave them to fend for themselves as you scurry back to Europe?

And now the ethnic groups are fighting each other, religious groups are fighting each other, the once oppressed groups are trying to get revenge, the political system has gone haywire, and the economy is a hot mess. And don't even get me started on AIDS... Africa is broken, but it didn't break itself. So in order to fix it Africans (like my parents) are coming to America to study and send money home to help the little they can.

I agree with what shes sayings as its true, white people arnt from america, but black people wernt kidnapped from Africa. Black farm owners in africa had slaves, long before white people took them, so they wernt just sitting there all peaceful drinking tea and chatting, they were already slaves. sad but true.

It's true that a large majority of them were sold by their own people but I think the slavery that went on in Africa was not the same kind of slavery that went on in America. And even after slavery ended in America racism continued. If a slave was freed in Africa their freedom was some what sweeter.
