The Imperial army honored their emporor like a god, they would do anything for him.
They're not nuts, they're pretty badass once you think about it, I'd like to see you blow up an Aircraft carrier
with a Kamikaze rocket plane, I'd like to see you charge into enemy gunfire screaming "Banzai"
The Americans only won after the A-Bomb, otherwise, the battle for Tokyo would happen and result in heavy American losses.
